    GemCraft is an unusual tower defence game with a wealth of content and some clever twists to the usual formula.

    There isn't much originality in the tower defense genre, but browser-port GemCraft adds RPG elements and additional modes that help separate it from the masses.

    GemCraft isn't the prettiest of games, nor one with an involving storyline, but it does have a lot of depth. The combination of gems, structure building and unlockable skills makes for a potent mix.
