This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Five Nights at Freddy's is a fun horror game. It has a easy concept and does not require any movement.
The goal in this game is simple: Manage your battery-power to survive the night. The first few nights are easy, but it gets harder every night.
This iOS port is pretty well made. The controls fit perfectly. But there is only one problem I have: The small iPhone screen just ruins the atmosphere. The PC Version gets intense because the jumpscares are right in your face. But on the iOS-Version its just small and not as scary as the PC version.
In the end the iOS port is what you expect: The same game with a smaller screen.

The anxiety helps make the game more intense. Some say a mobile device's small screen makes the player suffer from a "complete lack of immersion"--but unless you’re in a dark and quiet room completely by yourself, I doubt you're 100% immersed in the game anyway. Since I play on a device with a large screen, I don't really suffer from this "lack of immersion".

The game isn't too scary to me and not too hard at first, but nevertheless fun to play. I say the game has some unused potential--the original concept could definitely be expanded upon, but for an indie game I’d say it’s good. If you’re unsatisfied with “5 Nights at Freddy’s”, I suggest you play the sequel (as of now it’s only available for PC and Android devices). It has more scares, more animatronics, and more difficulty.

I have reviewed 32 other movies, including the 2014 films: Dracula Untold, The Maze Runner, The Expendables 3, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Giver, Sharknado 2, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Transformers: Age of Extinction, Edge of Tomorrow, X-Men Days of Future Past, Godzilla, Blended, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Divergent, Transcendence, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, Blended, The Lego Movie, and more.

I also review TV shows, such as Gotham, The Last Ship, Sleepy Hollow, Marvel's Agents of SHIELD, The 100, I Wanna Marry Harry, Crisis, Gang Related, and more. I also have reviewed the mobile game Minecraft Pocket Edition and Batman: Arkham Origins (under my old account, andrewgarcia732).

    Goodbye! Sincerely, AG732.

This game is enjoyable to play but I wouldn't call it a horror game...
I may have jumped at a few of the jumpscares but I never had nightmares about this game. Basically, if you want to be frightened I'd suggest that you play a game like Silent Hill instead.
If you want to play it- I'd recommend playing this with friends and seeing how long you can survive for. If you want to find out

Five Nights at Freddy's is kind of like a pseudo survival horror game. You play as a night shift guard at a Pizzeria. With limited power, resources and visibility you have to keep the rogue animatronics under control.

The game has an incredibly simple interface. You sit in the guard's office, and have access to locking doors, lights and the restaurant's camera system, which is accessed via a tablet.

It's an interesting idea that falls pretty flat and gets very boring, with super limited game play fairly soon. The game is so short simply because there isn't enough content to expand upon.

It also feels incredibly cliche as far as survival horror games goes, it's just another indie developer jumping on the survival horror train, throwing something together and cashing in on it.

The iOS version also suffers from a complete lack of immersion. At least with the PC version, you can sit, play in the dark and have a nice surround sound experience. With a portable version, not only do the graphics suffer due to the port, but the small screen also limits the ability to put yourself in the game. The iPhone's limited, single speaker hardware design is also a large flaw for the the game on the mobile market.

Anyways, the game is plagued by limited game play, short play times and awful graphics. If you were going to do something like this, at the very least you could do a better job with the graphics.

This is a case of a PC game going into the mobile market because they can, but it really has no place for it. The most basic elements that some people may find enjoyable about Five Nights at Freddy's is completely ruined on a mobile device.

anxiety for a couple of bucks. What's not to love? The atmosphere is just right, the interface is even more expanded, the chills are real, and overall, a fun (if not horrifying) time.

This is a really good port for the game, if the game was good on PC, in IOS too, the game has some problems with the compatibility in older devices, but that doesn't matters.

An amazing iOS version of the game Five Nights at Freddy's for the PC. It is the exact same as the PC version and the touch controls work pretty well. Unfortunately, its ambient sounds aren't as good. 9/10 (Amazing)

It was one of my favorite games for a while. Until FNaF2, then FNaF3, then after that, Geometry Dash took over. I even beat the game and was working on 4/20 for a bit. Really good horror game. Then the haters recognized it, and then any video with FNaF had hate comments... pretty much, 9 is my score for the FNaF games. The movie will be great!

This is probably the most polarizing and divisive franchises in recent history so let me try to word this in a way to not insinuate any harsh feelings toward my opinion. Anyway Five Nights At Freddy's is a cult horror/stress management game that blew up out of nowhere and has gained notoriety for it's lack of violence yet having the ability to scare players with something as harmless sounding as animatronics. However the game has been criticised for lacking much more than jumpscares as a scare point and somewhat shallow gameplay and I would have to agree with statements on both sides. This is not really the game for me (I fancy myself as more of a fan of games such as Silent Hill and Outlast for their much more creepy atmosphere and lasting suspense) however I can see this game also for the many amazing feasts it has accomplished. I would recommend FNAF for people new to the horror genre but probably not for anyone who finds jumpscares to be shallow and a weak form of horror. Still give it a shot if appeals to you. Expand

The game is fun the doors and power mechanic makes the game hard and it kicked of a great series of games that I will play until Freddy Fazbear crooks. Actually beyond Fredy's death.

It may seems in the beginning that the game isn't scary or fun at all but when you will understand what's going on in this game and what you have to do it turns into a breathtaking game.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Whether Five Nights At Freddy's clicks for you or not is heavily reliant on how well it manages to shake you. If the atmosphere doesn't get to you, all that's left is a very simple game of red light-green light.

Can you survive five nights as the new night watchman of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza? Be warned: the resident animatronic mascots are a bit... buggy. Good luck!
