If Nintendo gets around to unlocking a true multiplayer mode or opening the game up to battles larger than on 8x6 grids, I could see myself sticking around. For now, I'm glad there's enough good gameplay to occupy me for at least a day without spending a single dime. The entire presentation—slick battle animations, beautiful full-screen character art, polished music, a full suite of appropriately cheery Fire Emblem voice actors, simple tap-to-battle controls—helped me enjoy what I've quested through thus far.

It’s smart, deep, and polished in a way few mobile games are. It has the hallmarks of Nintendo’s design. It doesn’t abandon the mobile model, but in its best moments, it transcends it.

I'd certainly recommend any Fire Emblem fan at least give Fire Emblem Heroes a shot. You might not end up sticking with it, but I bet you'll have at least a little fun with it even if you do bail out at some point. It might not be the game that some hoped for, but it at least shows that Nintendo has what it takes to make a relatively faithful, enjoyable free-to-play game out of one of their long-running franchises.

It has a good history(no so deep like other FE but good enough), and you can use character for every past FE, and well that matter, specially for fans of the series. personally i don't like the chibi art style(big head and cute) but at least in portraits and conversations they look with classic art style.

cons: not relationship between characters, no permanent death(if your hero dies you can use it later)

The problem i have is just how expensive microtractions are which i know is optional but the prices are terrible. The bare bones story is goof enough but the story also ends abrubtly after chapter 9 with no resolution meaning its not finished and theres no reason to play, also no actual multiolayer is a buzzkill Full Review »

Super small battlefield, only 4 teammembers, nearly no depth other than stone/scissor/paper, mindless grinding etc. Seriously: you have to get your new characters out of lootboxes with raretly. Its a mobile game like every other game on the android store with a FireEmblem label on it. Full Review »
