    This "game" is so insulting that i registered an account just so that people knew what it's all about. A game should have decisions, that's what games are about: you make decisions, learn patterns, execute them, make strategies and overall just have plain fun! That's all what All The Bravest is not.

    The game is intended to be a battle game only, but all you do is swipe your finger over    This "game" is so insulting that i registered an account just so that people knew what it's all about.     The game is intended to be a battle game only, but all you do is swipe your finger over and over, no decisions at all, whichever character you choose makes no difference whatsoever so you don't even have an strategy when you enter the battle. The team disposition is entirely random, the attacks are entirely random, you can't equip items because yep, that's entirely random, and to get even worse you're from time to time wiped out of the screen and has to either buy your way back or wait for a long period to play again. This just doesn't make sense!

    Even the things you buy in the store follow this idea: the premium characters which give a little bit more damage(and because of that they take more time to recharge and attack again) are just cosmetic pieces, because in the end they're the same as the regular characters. And the worlds that you buy which are the same price as the game itself don't add anything to the "game"!

    Square Enix was just following the fad of Facebook games and made this game so that they could get money from its fan base. But it's so so insulting that even facebook cashgames like farmville you can "lose" the game if you don't come back in a certain period of time, but this game doesn't even do that... you some hour of the "game" WILL die and will have to wait OR buy your way back.

    It's insulting in a way that the game is balanced so that you lose the sub boss battles and the boss battles(unless you grind which is insane because grinding usually isn't fun so imagine here...), so you figure that they had a game designer creating a game SPECIFICALLY this way so that they could sell things.    … Expand

    The game takes out all aspects that made the original games so interesting to play and leave the end product with only the graphics. While a party of 20 characters should be fun to manage it fails in any management and encourages you to cheat with swipes. Way to easy and a real let down of the series.

    Not a game. It is a blatant money grab that clearly shows the kind of company Square Enix has become. Avoid, PLEASE avoid. You would be supporting more of this. The name of Final Fantasy is tarnished enough.

    At first, I thought that this was a game where you fought monsters by swiping your finger up and down.     In very short: depressing cash-grab! I don't think lots of words are needed to describe the how bad this game is, but as the review requires it: The game itself is not an rpg at all, it has no story line, it has mindless gameplay where the only thing you have control of is to randomly swipe your finger around the screen and hope that it changes something.

    Clearly Square has lost track of their fanbase. When I saw this, I was hoping that it would be a 16-bit iOS RPG with a hopeful multiplayer component. What was given was a $3.99 game that charges you $0.99 x 60 to just be able to play it without wanted to destroy whatever it is on. The only reason it gets a 1 in my book, the graphics gave me a reminder of when Square truthfully cared, inClearly Square has lost track of their fanbase.     How is this a game? There is no gameplay AT ALL, simply attempts to steal more of your money through randomized DLC.

    Would give -10 if I could, and definitely not giving Square Enix any money ever again.

This game has no gameplay, literally swiping your thumb up and down the screen to send your many party members to attack, before they get hit ONCE and die, leaving you to wait 3 hours per character (of around 20) or to pay money to carry on swiping, that is all. This game really is a shallow attempt to take loyal fans money. The only thing thatThe worst Final Fantasy game of all time!     All the Braves is one of the absolute worst offenders of microtransactions gaming has ever seen. It's possibly an even worse offender than The War Z, which is pretty hard to do. Literally the entire game consists of you rubbing your phone's screen like you're relentlessly scratching a lottery ticket to attack enemies, which in turn is governed by an overly simplistic version of FinalAll the Braves is one of the absolute worst offenders of microtransactions gaming has ever seen. It's possibly an even worse offender than The War Z, which is pretty hard to do. Literally the entire game consists of you rubbing your phone's screen like you're relentlessly scratching a lottery ticket to attack enemies, which in turn is governed by an overly simplistic version of Final Fantasy's turn-based battle system. There is no non-linearity or adventuring to speak of; it's just battle after battle and so-on. The actual game is bad enough, but its reliance of microtransactions is what makes its very existence a potential offender of public decency. Literally every action in the game is governed by microtransactions, with only a few having free alternatives (all of which involving ludicrously long waiting times). Some enemies in the game require certain characters to defeat, and the only way you can get other characters is to pay money, and what makes even WORSE than that is that it's randomized, meaning that it can easily take you 35 payments to FINALLY get the character you want. What do you get out of it? A step closer to beating the game, but is it worth it? Hell no. This game isn't fun. It's not worth your hard-earned cash to purchase, and it sure as hell isn't worth it sustain.… Expand

    This is not a game. This is an insult to gamers' intelligence, and to exploit nostalgia. There are so many in-app purchases to nickel and dime you, and the game requires no skill; you just tap tap tap and that's it. This game really makes me fear for the future of Square-Enix.

And because of this, I have chosen to boycott any product from SquareEnix from now on.     I play this game for several hours everyday and have not tired of it! I spent around 1000$ so far and plan to spend more. Easy purchase breaths new life into this fantastic game. I hope they make a sequel!

    This is the Final Fantasy game I've been waiting for since FFX. Great graphics, music from previous FF titles that make you nostalgic to the good ole days. Innovative tap gameplay and the first game in the series where you can send out a whole platoon to fight enemies! Only 4 bucks so this is definetly a must buy for every FF fan! Forget FFvsXIII, this is the real deal.

    There's almost no interaction and the game basically plays itself. It's just a cash grab on people who want to feel nostalgic about older Final Fantasy games. In-app purchases are super expensive and you can't even choose which character you want. It's random. Have fun wasting money.

    Even as someone who has next to no experience with the series, I can tell you that this is a Final Fantasy game in name only. The only thing it bears in resemblance to the well-respected RPG series is a graphical style reminiscent of the older games and a great OST. All you do in this game is mindlessly swipe your finger up and down the screen in order to get your units to attack. When your units die, which they do in one hit, you either have to wait on a timer for them to respawn or buy them back faster with micro-transactions. Considering you can just close the app and wait for your troops to respawn without losing any progress in the battle, micro-transactions aren't an issue. Sure that means you won't be playing the game, but because the odds of you having fun with the game are practically non-existant, there's no real loss. No matter how much of a series fan you are, pass on this. It just makes a mockery of the series you love. My total score is a 4.4/10=Bad.… Expand

    Final Fantasy All The Bravest is a Final Fantasy game in name only. While It may look like a classic 2-d Final Fantasy game and sound like one, let's just say it's not. I was lucky enough to get the game after Square Enix stopped charging 4 US American dollars for it. Just hearing about that pissed me off because after that if you really want to have any fun you have to pay for more hourglasses to instantly revive your party (like Pheonix Downs) and you have to pay money for the areas from FF7, FFX, and FFXIII. Also how'd you like to have up to 25 to 40 classic and iconic Final Fantasy Chracters on your team, well guess what they only cost a dollar EACH, and they are randomly picked every time so that means you could waste money on a Character you already bought.

    So now I want to bring up the "gameplay" Final Fantasy All the Bravest has to offer. You enter into battle with a maximum of 40 randomly chosen party members. They are taken from your pool of unlocked or purchased characters. You then swipe or tap your fingers to launch your party members at your enimies. That's right no strategy no though and not a lot of fun just randomly attacking and hoping that you win. All of your party members die in one hit meaning in some of the later fights you'll be and then out in like 25 seconds flat. If a party member falls you have two options: 1.You could wait three minutes for them to come back or 2.use or pay for an hourglass to revive them all instantly. Also if you have unlocked the maximum of 40 party members then guess how long you have to wait to play again exactly TWO HOURS before you can play again that's just stupid why not just kick you out of the battle and let you go grind some earlier battles. The only saving grace the gameplay has is fever mode. Normally after every attack your party member lands they have to wait for their ATB gauge to refill before they can attack again. But every 3 hours fever mode happens. While in fever mode you can just attack and attack until the mode runs out. Now this is the only form of strategy I can think of for this game. Here's what you do plan out your play sessions so your only play during fever mode I guess.

    So Final Fantasy All The Bravest is a CASHGRAB TO THE HIGHEST DEGREE OF THE WORD. Attempting to cater to the Final Fantasy fanbase and use our nostalgia blind kids inside of us to pay money for this **** It's sad so sad because if everything was free in this game I could excuse it and just say it's just a cute little mobile game. But no it may be free to play now but its pay to win.    … Expand

    This is the worst "game" I've played in my life. I put air quotes there because IT'S BARELY A GAME! All you do is swipe your troops until all the enemies are dead. There isn't any combo potential, Strategy, or any other interesting stuff Pokemon Shuffle has. Both are pay to win but PS has interesting special stages & battles that are fun as well as a nice soundtrack, Yeah I know this gameThis is the worst "game" I've played in my life.     The worst product to ever bear the "Final Fantasy" brand, Final Fantasy: All the Bravest can't even be called a "game"; it's nothing more than a way to for you to funnel money to Square Enix via your mobile device.

    worth it and glad to play this game again. so much memories and nostalgia within this spin off game in the series.

    This loose fragment of fan-service is priced as a Vita game and designed as a low-end iOS game. Square’s use of IAPs wouldn’t be a good model even if it were free-to-play. With the premium attached, All the Bravest is simply anti-consumer. It’s a big waste of a good opportunity to streamline.

    As an experiment is a total failure. It's boring and repetitive, and its in-app purchase system is sometimes abusive. No matter if you like the series or not, there are better other options out there.
