    Exit the Gungeon is a frantic, (very) challenging action shooter with nice pixel art graphics and a good replayability value.

    Exit the Gungeon is an interesting experiment and a clever way to keep the series going without copying what's already been done; but along the path to mobile, some crucial elements of the DNA of the franchise were lost. I'll still be following it through its post-launch journey, however, and Gungeon fanatics will find plenty of references to smile at.

    When played with a controller, Exit the Gungeon feels like one of the few games on the new service that proves that an iOS device can bridge the gap between experiences on a mobile device and the ones I regularly enjoy on my PC and Switch. Let’s hope this is the beginning of a trend.

    It’s basically Enter The Gungeon in 2D. Runs are a bit faster, and the game seems a bit easier due to the dodge roll being a bit moreIt’s basically Enter The Gungeon in 2D. The only problem I have with this game is that it gets a bit repetitive, due to the rooms not being as diversified as in the first game.
