Sep 29, 2012The top view slashing and shooting is OK. It gets repetitive and the levels vaguely recreate the movie. This is only worth buying for hardcore Evil Deal fans.

Jan 29, 2026The classic cult movie is turned into an incredibly bad dual stick shooter with barren enviroments, boring action and horrible sound. Even though it sticks to the story, it is bad enough to hurt your opinion of the movie it's based on.

Jun 24, 2011For a goofy little action game Evil Dead isn't terrible. The juxtaposition of the art style and the gore (which you have to wipe off the screen with your finger) is fun, though once you're done with story mode, there's not much else to do. Some additional game modes might go a long way in making this a more rounded-out experience.
