    It's a quick and challenging puzzler that delivers gameplay we haven't seen before on the App Store, and I'd call it one of the best original puzzlers I've played on my iPod Touch.

    Egg vs. Chicken is one of those rare gems that I have to encourage as many people as possible to buy. It's cute, it's easy to play and it entices you into playing for much much longer than you'd envisage. It could well be the next Plants vs. Zombies or Angry Birds. It certainly deserves to be.

    Instead of being a clone it brings a completely unique gameplay formula to the App Store, and it is a fun one at that. If you are into match three games or barricade defence games this title comes highly recommended.

    While it lasts, though, Egg Vs. Chicken is a blast to play. More importantly, it's wonderful to see developers starting to stretch their legs and mixing up gameplay in new and imaginative ways. You knew this pun was coming: Get cracking on Egg Vs. Chicken today.

    Too simple a set up to stretch out across an entire game, Egg vs. Chicken is nonetheless an entertaining match-three battler, even if it comes to the boil a little too quickly.
