Make no mistake, Dungeon Hunter 5 is knee-deep in its freemium systems and it’s not going to make any converts of those that are staunchly against such elements. However, for those others willing to engage with what it offers in the environment that it offers it in, I believe you’ll have a good time.

Dungeon Hunter 5 delivers a better experience than the previous episode, with a decent balancing, a solid upgrade system and lots of challenging missions.

A game about walking around hitting things. If you like the sound of that then you should probably download it.

I applaud Gameloft for continuing to tinker with this series so it doesn’t get too stale, but the combination of less characters classes, little control over your gear and an uninspiring PvP element combine to knock Dungeon Hunter 5 down a peg.

It's evident that Gameloft has in its ranks the talent necessary to craft an epic, rich action-RPG - and I'd dearly like to see the development team do just that - but DH5 is not that game. There's certainly excellent examples of those on iOS, and players after such adventures would do well to grab Iesabel or Battleheart Legacy and forget this title.

    1. This is not RPG, multiplayer nor free players friendly.
    2. Progress without real money investments is possible but this requires really careful resource management especially crystals (in-game currence which can be bought for real money or slowly collected via in-game rewards)
    3. Energy (limitation of in-game actions) is good, it prevents donators from running too far away and causes everyone to play on approx. similar level.
    4. Levels are short and take abou 5-8 minutes each so game doesn't consume much time.
    5. Devs are greedy and cash payers have to pay really lots of money.
    6. Ballance seems more or less fine for this type of arcade/upgrade games.

This is by far the worst game of all. It's soaked in bugs, and you cannot progress AT ALL without spending hundreds of dollars. The developersThis is by far the worst game of all.
