    It's easy to see why the intensely engaging Dungeon Hearts attracted the attention of a studio like Devolver Digital, but with crashes eating up progress it's hard to fall in love with the excellent title on offer.

    A fast paced Match Three game mixed with simple RPG elements proves successful for Dungeon Hearts, but expect the focus to be heavily on the Match Three rather than anything RPGish.

    This game mixes Role Playing Game elements with a puzzle game in a nice way. The difficulty increases nicely and overall the game plays well. The biggest flaw the game has is the graphics.

    Dungeon Hearts’ basic mash-up of ideas and charming aesthetic could have set it on the path to casual-game stardom, but fun gameplay would have done a whole lot more. This may have match-three and RPG elements, but Puzzle Quest it most certainly is not.
