There's no denying Dumb Ways to Die 2 is simply much better than its predecessor. Better minigames (though slightly rehashed), more minigamesThere's no denying Dumb Ways to Die 2 is simply much better than its predecessor. Better minigames (though slightly rehashed), more minigames in general, and the clever addition of a safety bonus that adds to your main point total everytime you finish.

There are four main areas in the game: Freezerville, Drown Town, Dumb Dome, and Adrenaland. Each one does have its own annoying minigames to be sure, but they're all still fun to play. Dumb Dome (which revolves around sports) and Adrenaland (which doesn't seem to have any specific theme) are my favorites because of the sheer variety of minigames on offer. The other area, Dumbest of the Dumb, requires a ticket to enter. It seems you only get about a ticket every 24 hours which is an extreme shame because this area is the only way you can unlock characters for your map.

Unfortunately, the map characters are a downgrade from the first Dumb Ways to Die. They do have unique animations now but there are only about six you can get as opposed to the fifteen to twenty you can get at the train station in the first game. However, Dumbest of the Dumb is easily the best mode of the game because it combines all the minigames from all the areas and you'll rarely see repeats, which was one of my problems with the first game. A lack of tickets can easily be resolved by buying the cheap $3 Kids' Mode which allows you to get into Dumbest of the Dumb for free and gives you your own kids' leaderboard. Trust me, you'd be willing to sacrifice a leaderboard to get into Dumbest of the Dumb at any time.

Overall, Dumb Ways to Die 2: The Games is much better than its predecessor, with map characters being the only thing worse than its predecessor. The game has much more charm as well as minigames so it'll keep you busy for a long time.
