    $1 for a pokemon themed adventure you can play with friends. what can go wrong? My only qualm is that sometimes the game is way to hard, but otherwise it is extremely satisfying finding, battling, and crafting monsters

    While it doesn't exactly innovate on the genre, it's still something I find myself coming back to, forever intent on nudging my menagerie over the next performance plateau.

    A little bit Pokemon, a little Final Fantasy, Dragon Island Blue has the makings of an engaging game, but its presentation and pace weigh it down.

    I love much of what Dragon Island has to offer. There are just some elements that clearly lack the polish and depth of the Nintendo title it pays homage to.
