    As a person who has read/watched all DB, DBZ & DBGT (watched) episode, manga & movies I find that this game does the series justice. It does not propel you so far from the original story line that you are shaking your head wondering "is this really Dragon Ball?".

    The game itself it great as there are regular events scheduled & most of them are on a recurring schedule.     The game itself it great as there are regular events scheduled & most of them are on a recurring schedule.
    Character acquisition is quite good except for some events (including Summoning) where the drop rate is so low it makes you pull out your hair.
    The few events you will spend your time waiting for are the Dokkan Events which is where you will find the best characters at the time it is released (current Dokkan only) which makes your team the best it can be, unfortunately this requires you to have certain characters to successfully complete it which is horrible because you must spend Dragon Stones which are limited for us F2Pers. Another event that will make you want to play is the World Tournament where you can somewhat challenge other players teams in battle & because of this semi-PVP it does get a better rating.
    I would like to make mention that once you acquire UR characters things do get a little boring as your left getting weaker characters which does make the game feel more like grind.

    Its weak point is that the drop rates are low for summoning's which makes spending those Dragon Stones feel wasted which in turn makes you feel like crap.

    Its strongest point is that it doesn't make you feel as if your being ripped off like most F2Ps have been doing to us lately,.    … Expand

    Crying tears of among, this game saved my family and my marriage. TEQ Piccolo will be the symbol of peace in the future.

    So I started an account, summoned three really great cards without spending a dollar, then spent 25 dollars just to get three duplicates... This was immensely frustrating as duplicates have been rendered obsolete by an item called elder kai ritual... Which is easy to get... Don't spend money in this game... Unless you're a millionare

    It used to be my favorite DB game, even over ones such as Fighter Z and Xenoverse, but... they are starting to become way greedier by the day. Drop rates decreased DRAMATICALLY in the last year.
    It's a pity since it's by far the ONLY and best DB rpg in the market.
    Damn you, Bamco. You ruined my favorite game.

    Heavily Pay2Win game. I have spend over 2000 stones + 100 Tickets to get the AGL SSJ 4 Goku and did not get him. This is not an RNG game it is a scam game.

    Don't know why there is Andorid version missing in Metacritic.
    Game is enjoyable to play, with great celebrations like 1,2,3 or 4 year anniversary, MIL downloads. Dokkan Fest. etc.. Great mechanics and lot stuff to do.
    It's a gatcha game so do not expect to have all cards... Even if you throuh 1 mil dolars :)

    Quite good as far as free to play mobile games go. The story is note worthy but not much more than that. But dont worry the story is more of a side attraction that you will eventually find yourself one-shoting the boss of every new stage even on the hardest difficulty, Z-Hard. What's that? you want to play as Minotia and Hoi from wrath of the dragon? Yep, you want to play as DB heroes characters such as Fu, Mira, and Towa? Yep, You want to play as Dragonball fusion exclusive characters like Karoly? Yep, they also have Android 21 from Fighterz, Masked Saiyan Bardock from Xenoverse 2, every movie villain and Paragus. Who doesn't want Paragus? Aside from its masses and masses of characters, the other appealing aspect of Dokkan battle is progression. No not progression in the story, that's still noteworthy as best. Im talking about progression in the sense of always growing stronger, finding the best teams and arrangements, and upgrading and awakening your characters. Whenever you find yourself with max level, legendary rare with full hidden potential, you feel a little bit of yourself in that character. But I will say this game I not for everyone. To get a bunch of characters you can spend money, the alternative is to play the game. That doesn't sound so bad but the combat is not the most engaging thing in the world and is not the type of thing you will want to spends tons of time on. You pretty much click circles, but the super moves you can pull off are unique to every single character and can look pretty amazing. Overall its a pretty great mobile game that does struggle with the one issue that all free to plays do, microtransactions. This I feel does not hold back too much but it definitely does still exist. Great mobile game, 7.6/10 (I'll round it up to 8)

    I'm still grinding to get Assassin's Ultimate Technique Hit God Damnit. that's one more thing I forgot to mention. The Grind is Real.    … Expand

    just got banned airplane mode. i spent a total of 23402 dollars on this game. my wife and kids left me but teq gohan never will. After years of playing this game I was in an airplane when i accidentlaly closed the game and hti cancel. I was then told i could use wifi and had to log back into the game to find my characters are broken with immense stats. This is normal for teq gohan but forjust got banned airplane mode. i spent a total of 23402 dollars on this game. my wife and kids left me but teq gohan never will. After years of playing this game I was in an airplane when i accidentlaly closed the game and hti cancel. I was then told i could use wifi and had to log back into the game to find my characters are broken with immense stats. This is normal for teq gohan but for everyone else it was a surprise.     This game was created for cash grab in return for normal content and to create an addiction, well, the company itself is addicted to the customers money so really a vicious circle here

    Dragon ball Z DOKKAN BATTLE is such an amazing mobile game and it keeps getting better with each update the animations of the Super attacks are fire and the event are getting more challenging too if you haven't played the game give it a try it's really fun

    dbz dokkan battle is fun to play and sometimes addicting, but you can play f2p it has some p2p features but those features are not needed to play the game it only makes stuff faster.

    Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle is my favorite show of all time.
    I love Goku, TEQ Piccolo, PHY Guldo, TEQ Piccolo again, Doflamingo, and all my goats.
    I am so excited for Dokkan Battle 2 for more peak

    I've been playing this game for about 3 or 4 years and the game is improving more and more all these problems and also improving the artistic model of the cards, but the only thing that would be missing is to add more summon animations and improve the events of the ezas because they are very boring.
