Picked this game up shortly after it's release. I can not compare it to the Windows PC version so will only focus on it as an iPad (reviewed on a IPad Mini 2) game.

I love how the game starts out relatively easy but ramps up the difficulty as you play. The game while quick to learn is maddeningly difficult to master and addictive as all get out. While expensive by IOS standards I

I love how the game starts out relatively easy but ramps up the difficulty as you play. The game while quick to learn is maddeningly difficult to master and addictive as all get out.

While expensive by IOS standards I love that I am not annoyed by popups or the need to buy in store things to continue the game. I also love that I can't "CHEAT" by buying instore purchases as well. From what I can see I have spent 8 ot 9 hours playing the game and have barely scratched the surface of the game.

This game is beatable on every dungeon but it requires sharp math skills and understanding of the game mechanics. To be blunt the game is not for the faint of heart or for players who want a twitch fest. You need to plan each move carefully and can expect to have to reload dungeons multiple times to actually beat them.

Outside of the dungeons I love the kingdom RPG concept, it just adds even more depth to an already massive game.

Finally I love the sense of humor in the game it helps break up and ease the frustration when your stuck trying to beat a dungeon or puzzle.

I have marked the game 1 point due to the occasional need to hit a spot in the dungeon more than once to get my character to move to the spot.

Desktop Dungeons is a fantastic iOS adventure for RPG fans, but it really needs to be a universal build. iPad is awesome, but how about iPhone 6/6S regular and Plus model users? Desktop Dungeons would be great on larger iPhones! Fingers crossed for a future patch.

Desktop Dungeons is a great game that benefits from the mobility of tablets, although it still struggles to deliver bite-sized dungeon fun. Regardless, it's a game that should be on your tablet of choice.

An accessible but massive roguelike that will suck you in and then murder you. But in a good way.

Desktop Dungeons has made a pretty great effort to port their game to the iOS world, and it packs a lot of replay and problem solving into this app.
