    One of Cave's finest moments loses surprisingly little in its move to the iPhone, with excellent controls and plenty of extras.

    Just about the only flaw I have found with Deathsmiles isn't something that's the fault of the game itself, but rather it's an inherent problem due to actually controlling the game right on the touch screen.

    Deathsmiles is another masterpiece created by Cave: funny and full of action, with RPG elements in iPhone Mode, it could be considered as one of the definitive shot'em ups, of course alongside Espgaluda 2 and Dodonpachi Resurrection.
