Jul 28, 2012Look past the thick veil of colorful visual effects, and you'll see Dead Trigger for what it really is – a compilation of the worst features of freemium shooters that plague the App Store.
-
Jul 12, 2012Dead Trigger is an incredible piece of software from a technical point of view, but while it shines on graphical power it lacks in inspiration.
-
Jul 9, 2012Madfinger surprised us with Shadowrun, a really ambitious game for iOS, and has achieved that again with Dead Trigger, at least in part. Despite being a bit simplistic and repetitive from a gameplay standpoint, it has some interesting features like infinite missions, great visuals and good controls. It is not a revolution, but it is enjoyable and quite affordable.
-
Jul 8, 2012Seriously, give this game a try and blast the limbs off of the undead.
-
Jul 6, 2012Dead Trigger surely hits a few spots: it's cheap, it has amazing graphics and it's also pretty fun for a while. Unfortunately, it is also extremely repetitive and its controls can be irritatingly unresponsive.
-
Jul 6, 2012Keep your expectations in check, and you'll get a kick out of this insanely gorgeous shooter.
-
Jul 3, 2012As expected, Dead Trigger ups the graphics bar and provides a nice variety of weaponry and perks, though many will require a little extra monetary investment to use.
-
Jul 3, 2012The visuals are absolutely captivating, and are an excellent inexpensive way to showcase just how beautiful games could be on the new iPad. However, as a game, Dead Trigger just falls flat in terms of implementation offering the same dull freemium-based experience that we've seen before.
-
Jul 2, 2012Dead Trigger pushes the visual boundaries of iDevices, but much like its shambling antagonists there's not a lot going on upstairs.
-
Jul 2, 2012Even without the mysteriously absent staples, Dead Trigger is still a fun arcade-style zombie shooting romp. It's probably not going to make everyone happy (what game ever would?), but it certainly does a much better job than some of the competition.
-
Jul 2, 2012Dead Trigger has style to spare, but the reliance on in-app purchases kills some of its substance.
-
Jul 1, 2012Dead Trigger feels much more House of Dead than it does Left4Dead. A generic zombie shooter that may as well be on rails, if perhaps the most gorgeous one I've ever seen on a mobile device.
-
Jul 1, 2012Dead Trigger won't win any accolades for best story, best narrative or game design. It does what a shooter should do however, and that is offering a octane fuelled fun experience killing zombies.
-
Jun 30, 2012Stupendous mobile game graphics, a powerful collection of weapons and equipment, mowing down zombies and seeing their heads splatter, affordably-priced in-app cash and gold, surprisingly responsive first-person controls.
-
Jun 30, 2012Dead Trigger is totally braindead and quickly gets boring, but you'll find enough enjoyment for your 69p. In-app purchases and ill-thought-out controls can spoil the fun.
