It's absolutely terrific. I remember watching the trailer and I wasn't convinced to purchase it. Based on the phenomenal critic reviews I decided to download it, and I don't regret it at all. The game mechanics are very smooth, the characters are well-realized, the story is compelling with terrific, genuinely funny writing, and the game-play itself is enjoyably addictive. I can't suggest it enough for Android or iPhone users looking for a game that actually makes them choose to stay on their phone over playing a console game. Expand

Crashlands is the best game on mobile. I'm 20+ hours into it and am constantly finding time to jump back in the game and do something new. I see myself playing this for a long time. Absolutely worth every penny and I'd gladly pay $5-10 for an expansion! Great work, dev team!

It's tough to find a game on iOS these days that isn't micropay. When you do find a game that's not micropay, it's usually only a few levels or a puzzle based game. This game is an expansive world with hours of game-play. It's super addicting and everything from the storyline to the user interfaces are extremely well done. Simply put, download this game while it's still at it's current price!

I don't often write reviews, but when I do it's for something truly special (or truly awful).

This game is truly something I have loved more than I expected. It's like Don't Starve, Diablo, Minecraft and WoW came together to make a baby. I could go into an endless level of detail as to why, but it's pretty damn simple to figure out, it's a fun game with a wacky sense of humor and is

There are some minor issues when playing on a phone, but those are negated by the fact that you can play it on a phone. It feels truly, truly special and wonderful, and has immediately stationed itself in a top spot in my almost 40 years of playing games.

And it's literally great for everyone, there are multiple difficulty selections, and while some of the battles can get frustrating (especially on a phone) I have never felt that the results were terribly unfair or unwarranted.

So if you like building games, exploration, diablo style games... Just get it. It's really something special.

Great game. It's not only a sandbox title, but also an RPG and an adventure. Longevity, graphic, gameplay: it's all amazing. I've played it on iPad mini (3th generation). Android and PC versions are identical.

Not only my favorite iOS game of all time, but honestly one of the great gaming experiences of my 30+ years playing video games. Very few games have ever compelled me so intensely to continue playing. Crashlands distills the best elements of crafting and RPGs, creating a gameplay so addictive my loved ones are concerned.

After all of my years wandering around Metacritic, this game caused me to make my first review. The Ipad has been a huge disappointment in its gaming offerings. Crashlands is the new gold standard for the platform. It fully utilizes tapping and makes the game feel at home with the Ipad and I'd assume not so much on PC.

The map is huge. Dialogue is consistently funny. The resources system is unique and gathering them is crazy addicting. My only complaint is that missions don't always give you clear direction to where you need to go or what you need to do. It makes the game require more attention, which some may actually like. If you like or apprectiate crafting games, but are a bit averse to them only for the fact that they have little sense of direction, this is your game. The price is insanely low for the amount of content this game brings.

on the ios system, the game just plays, feels and look awesome! it´s so addictive and fun... one of the best games on the system today! 5 bucks is a fair price. it´s actually cheap if you consider what the game offers.

Ultimately one my all time favorites. I've been playing this game for a long time now. I however use a controller with my phone because I don't like the touch screen movements with the game. Crashlands won't take over the PC market but it fits perfectly in the mobile world. The game provides lots of fun, has a deep gameplay, interesting combat mechanics and a storyline full of funny moments. It's a solid candidate to the title of "mobile game of the year". Well done!
