    Awesome game, takes some time till you get used to the controls but once you control the drift the gameplay is superb. They've managed to bring some new aspects to the kart racing genre as a top down approach to the game and an active choice and use of your weapons. Like the customization part of your kart and character ... in summary, a great kart racer

    Cracking Sands could be described as a mix between "Mario Kart" and "Motorstorm". There are some problems with the camera, but overall is another good game from Polarbit.

    In the end, Cracking Sands ends up being a title recommended to racing fans that are looking for a title with a wealth of content. That's pretty much all it has going for it as the visuals aren't particularly inspiring, the controls aren't as precise as I'd like, the weapons-based gameplay, while fun, can easily become too hectic.

    Cracking Sands is a bitter pill to swallow as it comes from such a respected company like Polarbit. It's kind of an unpolished mess.
