    Когда я давал шанс Rogue Corps, я не мог предположить, что следующим шагом KONAMI станет ЭТО. Вместо вменяемого сингла, что проходится за один присест, куча стоп-кранов с ненужными кейсами, бессмысленной прокачкой и тучей гринда для гринда, что не красило серию в последнем, "большом" проекте, а тут разрослось до абсурдных ситуаций.     Online battles provide the odd moment of fun, but matchmaking is regularly unfair, the gameplay little more than a flimsy veil over the upgrade system and in-app purchases, and your character’s stats overwhelmingly the most important factor. It’s dull, over-commercialised drivel that’s not even a shadow of the franchise whose name it sullies.

    Contra Returns is a nice way to experience the classic Contra gameplay on your mobile device, thanks to a solid gameplay, a long campaign and a huge amount of extra content, modes and characters to unlock.

    Contra Returns builds something reasonably strong on its nostalgic foundations, and while it isn’t a patch on the original, who really expected it to be? This is a fist-clenched blaster that’s packed with enough entertainment to keep you pushing through.
