    Serious Command & Conquer fans will lament how EA completely streamlined the iPhone edition, but I think trimming some of the resource management makes it much more manageable for the new platform. However, at $9.99 without multiplayer (it's coming for free, unlike other content), it is hard to enthusiastically recommend Red Alert despite offering a couple hours of fun.

    Despite its lack of depth and a myriad of minor flaws, Command & Conquer: Red Alert succeeds in its objective of accessible real-time strategy with good controls and even better graphics.
