    INVENTOR MODE
    Starting with simple puzzles, players are introduced to the widgets that are used to build machines — gears, pipes, balloons, chimes, hammers, wheels, props, and more.

    TIME CHALLENGE MODE
    If you finish a puzzle in Inventor Mode, it will be unlocked here. This time, it will take fewer moves to reach a solution, but you only have 30 seconds to find it.

    MOVE CHALLENGE MODE
    Take your time and plan ahead. Every click counts when you only get ten moves to find a solution.

    There aren't many puzzle games that spin the gears in your mind like Cogs.

    It's too early to claim the puzzle game of 2010, but any contender will have a challenge on their hands. Cogs takes it's place side by side with Zen Bound and iBlast Moki as examples of the best of the best out there right now.

    If you buy the game and all four DLC packs, Cogs will run you $4.95 and should take around 10 hours to complete if you try to beat every challenge in the game.

    If you can get past the game's "buy as you go" set-up and increasing difficulty, you'll find tons of value in Cogs. The presentation is top-notch and the gameplay will grind your gears, and we mean that in a good way.

    If I had to sum up the game, I'd class it as a good fun-filled time passer, my only little caveat being that because of the true repetitive nature of the puzzles within Cogs, the game didn't seem to have as much replay value as I probably was expecting from it, or would have liked it to of had.

    Cogs is a magnificent iPhone puzzler. It is immediately comprehensible with no new mechanics to master; if you know how gears work, you know how to assemble a machine in Cogs. The art style is wonderful.

    A fantastic looking, engaging puzzle game that is only let down by the pay for more levels feature. Hardcore puzzle fans will love it.
