    All in all, it's a quality package, but it hasn't quite turned me on to the idea that insects should be given the privilege of existence. In fact, if it's done anything at all, it's made me more bloodthirsty for their demise.

    A clever little high score game about zapping bugs between your fingers. Plenty of crazy boss battles and challenges await.

    Even with the lack of an addictive progression curve, Bug Assault is a nice addition to the arcade-style app library. The upgrade system might be a little flawed, but the unique two-finger gameplay and colorful cast of critters are enough to make any gamer happy.

    While I actually prefer Bird Zapper's gameplay, Bug Assault has a fair bit to recommend it especially the unusual control mechanic. It's a solid pick, particularly for households with young gamers.
