Feb 4, 2011Bridge Odyssey is a good-looking game, but it's let down by its complex and frustrating control method.

Feb 4, 2011Bridge Odyssey is a good bridge-builder, but it feels as if it was built for two very separate audiences. The first part seems to want to educate genre newcomers and casual gamers, while the second part provides a challenge to the hardcore. The problem is that the two never intersect, and will leave both groups isolated from one part of the game. The hardcore will fly through the beginning, and the casual will be stumped at the end.

Feb 4, 2011I did have some issues with piece placement and you can see me fighting with the game in the video, but since nothing is real-time, these problems only serve as minor annoyances because you can just easily fix any piece that didn't wind up where you want it to by using the undo button.
