    Blot is a must play for those who like high score chasing. It takes a simple, proven idea, adds a couple of twists and wraps it all up in charming, hand-drawn artwork.

    Blot blows most of its competition out of the water with style alone. It's delightful, plain and simple, and when given the choice between equally solid games, I'll take the one that delights me any day.

    So yes, Blot is a clone, but it's a damn good one. Jetpack Joyride gets the nod, in large part because it's free, but if you have $0.99, this runner (perhaps floater is more appropriate) comes recommended.

    It's worth a look, both for the fun it delivers and also to see how closely it comes to mimicking the genre conventions.

    Blot is a simple clone of Jetpack Joyride, but the latter is definitely more fun and engaging, thanks to the object-based gameplay.

    Blot is Jetpack Joyride on a student's sketch book. You'll have some fun with the title, but it wont last too long.
