    Simply not a better game in existance. Nothing more to be said. Tons a variety, great music, and non intrusive microtransactions. 10/10

    Most of these other reviewers don't know what they are talking about. I have been playing the game for almost 5 years and have beaten every stage in the game and will continue doing so. This is an astonishing game. I have never felt so strongly about a game before. First of all you do not need to spend any money to be good at the game. Whoever said that is just bad. Yes there are difficulty spikes but they are fun and reasonable. One way you might find it hard to progress is trying stages you are not ready for. This means that you might say that you have to pay money to win which is not true. The variety of game mechanics and enemies is unlike I have seen before, this causes a high level of strategy. You might find early levels dont require strategy however it is a way to ease you into the game. Another mistake beginners do is try the first couple of stages and say, this game is not for me. The early game is quite boring but it is to prepare you for a journey of a lifetime. Meeting new people, making new friends in the community and just having lots of fun. I cannot thank ponos enough for what they have created and I'm sure if you give it a try, you will thank them too.… Expand

    Battle Cats starts out simple, but gets increasingly addictive as it goes on. Very much worth the memory, but in-app purchases are somewhat meaningless. Get Cat food through promotions, don't pay cash.

Despite containing microtransactions, it is fully beatable without spending a penny, and the devs are very generous with giving away free things and ingame currency almost daily. The game is about collecting and fighting with thousands of cute and werid cats, fighting against even werider enemies.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. now battle cats has been an enjoyable game since 2016, but when i quit, it was the thinking of whether i should just continue or not? because i've already progressed through 1 part of the game and now i have more? do i just have to finish? and yeah, the difficulty has insanely gone up and you pretty much have to rely on a couple of things in order to do it right, but it is definitely possible to play this game without spending money. it's just that, it's really hard when you keep playing. (examples are Crazed Cat) but definitely was worth my time on this game, it's not like you have to rely on paying to win, you have to rely on your skill and memorization on this game in order to beat levels in the game.… Expand

The game starts fairly easy, but eventually (usually around the America stages) players hit a brick wall of difficulty, and most replay stages to upgrade existing cats - or buy new ones.

    This is where the game becomes super    This is easily one of the most fun games ever made. It has likeable designs, addictive gameplay and funky music, as well as the incredibly cute cats of the title. The game starts fairly easy, but eventually (usually around the America stages) players hit a brick wall of difficulty, and most replay stages to upgrade existing cats - or buy new ones.

    This is where the game becomes super fun. Players can use ‘cat food’ (the games Holy Grail of currency, found by completing missions - or buying) to buy ‘cat tickets’, which will then open ‘cat capsules’. Once opened, you may find a new cat, or an old one - and the choice is yours what you do with it!

    Into the Future and the Legend Stages are also available aside to the normal Empire of Cats stages, and they broaden the scope of the game and make it even better. I may be biased, as I am a huge cat lover myself, but Battle Cats is just a brilliant game - witty, entertaining and likeable. If you are a cat fan, or just want something entertaining to play, I would give this incredible game a try.

    (But don’t upgrade Hip-Hop cat if you get him.)    … Expand

    In this games you need to practice your cat to kill the enemies.The character is really fun and there is too many awards to get.(u can beat this games without any money)But some character can only been get by lottery.

    The issue is, later stages become so unreasonably hard it's impossible to progress without spending money. Unless there is a special event going on, the only viable way to attain the game's premium currency is by buying it.     This game is average in my opinion. The game features a lot of different battle cats and has continuous fun trying to upgrade cats. The game is pretty hard in my opinion and I wouldnt really have an opinion on it.

    Overall the game is fairly easy, with odd spikes in difficulty every few levels as a boss creature is introduced. Bosses typically require you to go back and replay past levels for more experience to upgrade your cats, making the game more reliant on sheer numbers than actual strategy.
