Baldo: The Guardian Owls is an ambitious adventure that welcomes us with its wonderful Miyazaki aesthetic, but delivers a ruthless and dated design that could easily discourage you.

Graphics and Music are absolutely gorgeous, it was more than a decade i didn't forget i had to go to sleep, of course there are many things that could have been done better, but since main bugs and problems are already gone, make yourself a gift and play this game cause it deserves.

This review contains spoilers, click full review link to view. Spoiler alert even after the latest update with easy mode the game is way to clunky and buggy and its just not fun playing this game. The funny thing is I really want to love this game but I tried to give it a pause and come back once a update was live. And that’s my spoiler the game doesn’t fix much and its such a waste because with a few tweaks here and there it can be a great game. Not worth anyones time. I would be surprised anyone finishing this game without any chests Full Review »

Thought the glitches and weird bugs that popped up were due to the macbook for some reason... the iPhone was actually worse with the touch controls being spotty. The game's art style, gameplay, and all of that kind of stuff is neat. The first dungeon was crazy to get through due to glitches and my character just getting stuck against a wall or other object. It took FOREVER to get through the boss battle with the spotty controls.

Ended up playing on my mac with the controller and it was still laggy and weird in response time but it was better than the phone. there IS a good game there but this just seems like it was rushed to get it out. sadly, from what I have read, the console and PC version don't perform much differently.
