Feb 21, 2012While Manley and some level elements seem like they were ripped from Mario, you will find a lot of differences that will make this fun to play for hours and hours.

Feb 16, 2012AWESOME Land's harder across the board, actually, but its slightly naff virtual controls work better than expected, and the checkpoint placement isn't unduly sadistic. It's difficult, at times, to tell whether FreakZone's pitched this as parody or homage, but take it as the latter, and you'll have a fairly good couple of hours with it.

Feb 8, 2012The game's levels aren't the most ambitious to be seen in a platforming title, and in that way AWESOME Land seems to have missed one of the biggest lessons of the games to which it pays homage.
