    An awesome shoot em up that revitalises a stagnating genre. Slick graphics, smooth gameplay and hours of fun. Find myself constantly starting up a game whenever I'm waiting in a line or on a bus.

    Assault Squadron easily stacks up with any space shooter I have played on the PS3 or 360 in the past few years, both in visuals and in gameplay.

    Assault Squadron is a fantastic game. While I personally prefer twitchier controls, most players will not find them to be an issue so this concern really should be considered more of a personal preference.

    Assault Squadron is a great attempt at the "bullet hell" shoot 'em up genre from outside of its homeland, and is impressive from a technical standpoint, but a shoot 'em up with uncomfortable controls is a shoot 'em up that should be approached with caution.
