The game is for 2-4 players (human or AI) with each player in control of a group of 10 frogs, which connect to the other player’s frogs to form an island.The shape and size of the island is constantly changing as players add and jump their frogs about in an attempt to rally them into one large group to win the game. The player’s frogs are also introduced to the island by the other players, who will most definitely add them in difficult locations and use them to block the movements of the other frogs: so winning is not as simple as it may first appear.… Expand

    After releasing one of our favorite strategy games, Neuroshima Hex, we had high hopes for the follow-up offering and can gladly report that Army of Frogs is a more simplified, but equally challenging, board game.

    Clean interface and menu design, engaging gameplay and a wealth of multiplayer options make sure you'll always have someone to play against.

    Given a few tweaks, Army of Frogs could be well worth the price of admission. Until then, though, I'd caution you to only hop in if you've got someone local to play with. You'll find a well-designed game that's a lot of fun to play -- but the pond is awful lonely if you go it alone.
