    I prefer paying $4 to have the full game with unlimited number of lives than to wait for 5 lives to recharge. The mechanics of this "game" make the player to lose lives more easily. The only thing I like of this app are the graphics and art style. Nothing else. This is another franchise ruined by microtransactions.

    I bought this expecting greatness. This didn't even come close to close. It's hard to believe these people made Angry Birds Star Wars. The graphics are good, yes, but the gameplay is awful. You need to unlock cards to play as certain birds, and the world map is so long I didn't even bother trying to get past World 2. Honestly, you should just buy the first one instead.

    - that facebook and other social propts;
    - that awful freemium stuff poking in your face;
    - overall feeling that this games exist not for you to play but for you to pay;

    I'll be more specific here:

    Think about it. You have up to 5 attempts in game what based on try and error and prompt to pay more to have more attempts. Game plainly tells you that it does not wants you to play, solve levels, get new records and other stuff that games wants you to do. It wants you to pay (1$ per try oh god) or... not play itself. It's ether pay or turn down the game and wait 30+ minutes.
    And it's get worse. While it is fun for first 20-30 levels, soon puzzles become a challenge. Real one. Which means you have to spend more than one life to 'get' level. Best case scenario - you could solve 2-3 levels at a time. Add to this some random elements on the level and random array of birds you start with - and you could run out of lives in a single level because you out of luck.

    Ughhh...

    I am so tired of publisher turning actually pretty enjoyable and nice games into money sucking machines.
    Let me pay you 10$ and actually play the game, not fight your marketing team ruse...

    The game is very good. The art, Music and levels are good. But the stupid thing is that you only have five trys and then you have to wait 30 minutes for one more try. That can be very annoying. The bosses are fine. So if you like angry birds this game is good.

    Really REALLY sick and tired of the game constantly crashing, loosing gems, advantages, or the ability to finish a competition!!! If I have to be connected to the internet, why isn't progress tracked, so that when the game reboots, I am able to pick up where I left off?? It used to be that it just crashed with certain advertisements, now it is just random. REALLY Frustrating!!!!!

    The only positive about how the game is presented is the visuals. They are gorgeous; a step up from the original.

    What's wrong with the game is about everything else! First of all, there is a lives system; yes a lives system! In the first version of the game, you had 5 lives that recharge every 30 minutes. This was a very bad move as Angry Birds is known to be a hard physics puzzle game that took many tries to get past one level. It took player skill to advance in the original Angry Birds, but in Angry Birds 2, now it takes real dough to advance. Ain't nobody got time for that! What could take minutes to hours to advance in the original Angry Birds could takes days, weeks, or even months to advance in Angry Birds 2. What a waste of time! Not to mention, in one update, they cut the maximum lives from 5 to 3. What the heck?

    The gameplay is disgusting as well! You know how in the original game you are able to play with multiple numbers of different birds? Well, in Angry Birds 2, you can only play with one of each type of bird. It is really horrible. Let me explain. Chuck is really useful on wood blocks. Say you get a level full of wood blocks. Well guess what? You aren't getting past that level because you can only use Chuck once per level. This is a bad gameplay choice!

    Okay, so I just thought of another good thing in Angry Birds 2; how you can change the order of which bird you want to use. This is great for finding a winning strategy as you can use any bird in any order. I'm glad this was brought into the sequel as it was needed in the original.

    But still, Angry Birds 2 is an awful game! Other than visuals and the swap mechanic, this game has nothing good going for it. I suggest sticking with the original as this game is garbage.

    Final Score: 1 out of 10 (What the heck is this crap?!?)

    Positives:
    +Great visuals
    +Swap mechanic

    Negatives:

    -Bad Gameplay Elements

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Angry birds make me angry ! 2 birds fly at the same time? Is that a bug? 6 levels to finish not even possible with 7 birds plus an eagle. I gave up, because tiny pigs still remain even I threw a bomb on them. Angry birds 1 was fun but this version is CRAP ! And for me all levels look similar, great job they did, ... BORING !
    I do not have a prob to watch a commercial to get a new bird but what the hack if I win a level and 3 birds remain, I should take them into the next level. Better if players have a bird account and can manage that without begging for coins, collect 60 and you can purchase 3 birds in 1 level ! If you do not use them, they are gone and you can collect over and over again crap coins !
    I prefer to spend my time somehow different than getting angry with this birds sh.. !

    The game is a piss-poor attempt to make the game like Candy Crush Saga. The game heavily pushes a crappy lives system, near-useless power ups and more lootboxes than actual fun. Also, Rovio cannot call this "Angry Birds 2". This is the fifteenth game! Every level is essentially AI-generated and the special abilities

    There is no way to be bored with so many new ways to play angry birds, like the arena, the daily challenge, the world tournament and the competition between the clans, that give you points and rewards to upgrade and buy skins to make your birds more effective.
    Despite the fact that passing the level always guarantees you three stars doesn't mean that the game is easy and you will pass on first try. "Difficult" and boss levels are very challenging, and you face the constant risk of running out of birds in the new card system based on your score, so it's always a good idea to use one of the new power-ups.

    Angry Birds 2 is bad game, it is a downgrade from the original and here is why:

    1. Level design: This level design is stupidly easy, it becomes a mindless game were all you have to do is just fling birds at buildings and pray that something hits those structures, and the reason for this because the game's levels are randomly generated making it a roguelike. While I do like the roguelike genera, for some reason it gets merged with other genera's that are NOT designed for roguelikes. There is no way to tell a bot how to create meaning full puzzles without them becoming boring and easy. Another problem with this is that because it is an roguelike, there is a new version of each level every time you re-start, meaning that it is impossible to practice them.

    2. New stuff: Okay so there is tons of new stuff that this "sequel" brought to the table, all of witch suck. First lets start with the new bird, silver. She's fine can be useful some times but sense the level design is randomly generated, it mostly just ends up making her completely USELESS. Now there is the cosmetics, not really much to say about them, other than they look like they were stolen from PvZ 2. Now the arena its a multiplayer mode and its just as bad as the base game though you don't lose lives when you lose in this mode. In the tower of fortune you can get upgrades for your birds however you can not see any of the cards, and one of them is a pig card. If you get the pig card, you can watch an add to pass or pay with gems. Mighty Eagle's Bootcamp is just a shop, nothing else to say about this mode. And there is the daily challenge were you can lose lives unlike the arena. There are also spells that just make the game easer than it already is.

    3. Microtransactions: Boy are there a lot of those... first of all there are the lives, you get 5 lives and you will lose 1 live every time you lose a level, and if you lose all of your lives. And the way you can get them back is either by paying real money or watch an add. You can get them back if you wait longer. This live system obviously just exists because MONEY!!! There is also a hatchling you can feed to get more feathers. This is disgusting. Because the game is manipulating kids to play this game more and if they don't feed the hatchling it will be sad and run away witch could make kids sad and cry.

    4. Other stuff about the game: The game's areas look boring and bland. They all just look same. The other games had areas that were diverse and unique, it is very easy to tell 2 worlds apart in AB seasons, but in AB 2 all the worlds look like they were copy and pasted over and over. We also had to wait 3 full years for hal, bubbles and stella to be added back in the game, WHY?????

    5. Similarities to other games: This game steals from so many other mobile games. First of all the level select screen looks like it was ripped straight from PvZ 2, the lives is taken from candy crush saga, AND THEY LITRALY JUST STOLE THE CLANS FETURE FROM CLASH OF CLANS AND CALLED IT CLANS, THEY DIDENT EVEN TRY TO HIDE IT. There are probably other stuff that rovio took from other games but I don't want to know because I don't want to support this company anymore by downloading it this crappy game.

    6. (The last one) The fact Rovio called this, a "sequel": Now you may wonder why I say sequel in quotes. Well that is because an other game already got that title (according to Rovio) and in my opinion, is MUCH more deserving of the title Angry Birds 2. That game is AB seasons wicth is the TRUE Angry Birds 2, and AB rio witch is an Angry Birds 3. Now, how did these games already get that title of the an angry birds sequel? WELL in 2012 there was an Angry Birds game that released on Xbox, PS3 and the WII. It was titled "Angry Birds Trilogy" Keyword TRILLOGY. And what games were there? Angry Birds classic and Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio. Or should I say THE TRUE ANGRY BIRDS 2 AND ANGRY BIRDS 3. So ya Rovio is just trying to act like Angry Birds never had a sequel before even though they put AB seasons and rio along with the original in a game called AB Trilogy.

    Conclusion *Sigh* look, if this game was a spinoff like Angry Birds friends I would leave it alone, BUT since this game calls itself Angry Birds 2, it needs to feel like a sequel. But no instead we got a stupidly microtransactiony MESS that feels like EA made it. If you want a true Angry Birds sequel, go play Angry Birds seasons or rio since again, Rovio themselves confirmed that there sequels by putting them in a game called Angry Birds trilogy.
