Alls I can say is that I'm blown away...the only possible weakness you can talk about is the fact that it's single player only. But who really cares??

Loved this game all the way through. Its very replayable thanks to the nature of the missions and lots of rewards. You also recreate moments from the movies while playing. All good stuff. flaws are the amount of missions as there Loved this game all the way through. Playing Rouge Squadron II is like being beat over the head with a gigantic breast: it hurts, but man you sure do like it. All the joy in this game comes from piloting the different ships, not from the satisfaction of beating a level, because, frankly, you already know what happens. I suggest getting cheat codes and goin' hog crazy in Slave I.

I loved the first game and this game was probably the main reason for me to buy a Gamecube and boy was it worth it. I loved every moment of it. The graphics are impressive and hard to believe the Gamecube could pull them off. One of the best games ever, and the best star wars game to date.

A very, very fun game. Had replayable missions, excellent gameplay, and good story as well. The story tied in with the movies and general SW canon, which is always important. The bonus missions are also enjoyable. Overall a very enjoyable game.

Even more star wars rogue squadron memories! This is one of the first Star Wars games I've played and it appears to be one of my favorite, not because of childhood, but because of the gaming itself.

This is an awesome game. I'm not a major Star Wars fan and I still love this!

I will not bother renting or purchasing another game until I complete all missions with a gold medal. Yes, I like it that much.

This was an unbelievable game. I went back and watch the original trilogy again and I was like "Wow, that looks exactly like it does in the game," or "Isn't that exactly what they say in the game?" The controlling is great, and I love the game.

Perfect graphics, good 3D shooter gameplay. Think of it as a vastly updated version of Space Harrier! If only the missions were more open-ended and random, like the X-Wing/Tie Fighter games.

The main reason i picked this up was b/c it was cheap, and i knew it'd be fun. but i wasn't expecting that there was a lot of replay value to it. each mission is quite challenging and gives you a grade for efficiency. it is so hard to get a good grade that i find myself playing the level over and over trying to improve. in my mind that's a good thing. one downer is thatThe main reason i picked this up was b/c it was cheap, and i knew it'd be fun. but i wasn't expecting that there was a lot of replay value to it. each mission is quite challenging and gives you a grade for efficiency. it is so hard to get a good grade that i find myself playing the level over and over trying to improve. in my mind that's a good thing. one downer is that i'm a little confused about the objectives on a later level. it doesn't seem clearly explained. on the whole though this is probably the most fun star wars game i've ever played. It's a little overrated I think. The missions can be quite frustrating - mostly due to unclear goals. But I would say that this is the best Star Wars flight game.

The gameplay is very fun. The graphics are outstanding. It's a lot harder than the first one, though, and that can get frustrating for anyone less than a flight sim pro.

What does it for me is the sound. It is absolutely incredible. I was 6 years old when I saw "A New Hope" in theatres, and this game brought it all back for me. Go get the damned GameCube and buy this with it!

I seem to think the game doesn't last that long even when you get all the secret boards and gold medals. I still liked the graphics and the fact that the other wingmen helped you in this one rocked.

This is a very hard game, despite it being shorter than Rogue Squadron 64 it is much harder. The visuals are superb though, but it also lacks the depth that the 64 version had.

This game was great too. the gameplay was obviously terriffic, and the graphics most certainly weren't lacking. some of the levels were a bit overdone, and it was a little short, but all in all a great game.

Star wars is bar none one of the greatest movie franchises of all time and the games aren't half bad either and i would say this is one of the most addicting and fun and has great graphics for an early gamecube launch title

Una de esas grandísimas joyas del catálogo de exclusivos de Gamecube y el mejor juego de Star Wars al que he jugado. Emocionante, hermoso, muy divertido y variado.

This game is a good gem. Nice graphics, good gameplay with replay value that you can´t find today. The big weakness is the lack of multiplayer, however this game is much better than ST:BF. I miss Factor 5.

While the game's concept is one that was already proven on the N64, it was still loads of fun in 2001-2002 and is still loads of fun today. It is far from being the most innovative early GCN release but it is brilliant to say the least.

Juego divertido para echar unas partidas de vez en cuando, pero aun siendo fan de la saga nunca llegó a engancharme de verdad como para pasarlo al 100% a pesar de haberlo intentado muchas veces.

Rogue Squadron gets some graphical flourishes and slightly deeper missions but the gameplay stays largely unchanged. Disappointing for those hoping for a great leap forward but very satisfying for those wanting more of the same.

Impressive when you consider it took only nine months to make. [Feb 2003, p.96]
  2. The absolute pinnacle of Star Wars games. It's bloody hard in places, but it pampers the nostalgic and conveys so effortlessly the beauty of the galaxy and the sheer tyranny of the evil Empire that you will Force your way through it until there's no stone left unturned.
  3. To be able to seek out rogue Tie Fighters amongst the laser blasts from their sound position from a five speaker set up is a joy to behold in itself.
