MattSep 30, 2002Great game, wonderful graphics, good control, good story, but it needs some classic arwing levels. Go get if you havent already.

Aug 27, 2012Great game. I go back to it often thanks to its mesmerizing visuals and addictive gameplay. The music is incredible. You have to hear it to know what I'm talking about. Overall, an amazing game. If you own a GameCube, this is the game to buy.

Apr 20, 2018That was the only star fox game I ever played. And it was a great adventure by Rare. Very nice feeling for some reason. Exotic planetary environment and a bit of mystery.
A nice memory of a game from the company of the original DK series. -
Feb 19, 2019This game has taken to the Legend of Zelda level. Haters gonna hate! So buy this game if you'rse a star fox fan. I just smile everytime I hear Slippy in this game. Don't be surprised that these character have some British, Scottish, and Caribbean accents, because this game is from RARE, and their actors are of British nationality.

JoshuaA.Nov 20, 2002Great graphics and gameplay. Only real downfall is it's short timespan of gameplay. The last boss is also a bit of a let-down, but I won't give anyhting away. Despite those flaws, this game is really good and worth the time!

Nov 7, 2011I like this Star Fox better than others because you have the freedom to play as Star Fox out of an Arwing. The gameplay is kinda like Zelda games in a way that you go into a dungeon-like area and return to a field.

May 20, 2013Star Fox Adventures is a good game. The graphics, controls, story, and music are excellent. The puzzle solving of Star Fox Adventures is the best part of the game. The mini-games are easy to complete with an exception of a few that are tough.

The main downfall comes with the closing areas of the game; they seem rushed and are indicative of the sale of Rare to Microsoft, but don't let that prevent you from thoroughly enjoying one of the best videogames of this year.
-
GMR MagazineTakes its inspiration from "The Legend of Zelda" - and that ain't bad. [Feb 2003, p.96]
-
It lacks tension (combat is totally one-sided), set pieces (there are two whole bosses in the entire game), a gripping story (Krystal's kidnapped, you rescue Spirits, you fight General Scales), and any of the myriad different things that the game it principally tries to emulate (Zelda) was so famous for.
