    I just love this game this is my favorite mega man game of all time! The title just explains why simply. It is a collection so it MUST be good well only if it is a good series.

    @SteveH. the game you are thinking of is Mega Man X or X2 or X3 on the SNES. Those are great games, and they have their own collections too. This is an amazing collection of the first 8 Mega Man games and 2 previously unreleased! Great games, highly recommended!

    How can you beat having some of the best NES games ever and legends in videogames all in one package? This has been my most anticipated game in a long time.

    "...The display method the game uses looks bad and the extras are not quite there." Sounds like infamous X-Box 'fanboy' site, GameSpy, is a little upset over the whole "PS2 and GameCube only" compilation. Don't worry, the display is perfect, and the menu screens are well-produced. Stick to X-Box, GameSpy - there's no point complaining when non-X-Box owners know not to listen.

    Megaman anniversary collection is a must buy for any side scrolling fan. If your an older gamer, then you'd probably played some of these games, you'll want to pick it up, and get reaqquainted with the blue bomber. If your a younger gamer, like me, and want to get a piece of some older games, you should pick it up. I warn you, this game is very challenging and it will leave you Megaman anniversary collection is a must buy for any side scrolling fan. You'll end up playing the same areas over and over again, and the bosses are tough, like the rock monster from megaman 1.     Excellent collection with good extras. But the extras could have been better, and the jump & shoot buttons seem reversed.

    Oh baby oh baby oh baby. this is it. i play it all night. one of all time favorite video game series, and it plays better then ever. but but but why did they change the simple buttons around. der!!! that's my only complaint.

    A great game..but the mega man i remember the most isnt on here, i dont remember the name, it was for the super nintendo, maybe someone can answer that.

    Sin duda una de las mejores colecciones para la Gamecube por no decir una de las más destacables en el mundo de los videojuegos, disfrutaras bastante jugar os Megamans desde el 1 al 8 incluyendo dos Megaman battle, no puedo decir más de los apartados de cada juego cuando es intacto con sus clásicos en consolas anteriores, en gamecube es muy bien lograda la experiencia y es imprescindibleSin duda una de las mejores colecciones para la Gamecube por no decir una de las más destacables en el mundo de los videojuegos, disfrutaras bastante jugar os Megamans desde el 1 al 8 incluyendo dos Megaman battle, no puedo decir más de los apartados de cada juego cuando es intacto con sus clásicos en consolas anteriores, en gamecube es muy bien lograda la experiencia y es imprescindible tenerlo en esta consola.… Expand

    The highlight of the extras would have to be the two hidden games, Mega Man The Power Battles and Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters, both of which are quite entertaining to play (especially with a friend) but are only really enjoyable in short bursts.
