This game was a lot of fun. It's on the easy side, but that's ok. Not everyone needs a very difficult game to feed their egos. You get to play all 3 characters since each one acquires different abilities to complete objectives. I would have given it a 10 if it hadn't abbreviated so much of the plot from the book. This game is one the only harry potter games to do it right. It doesn't involve you doing things over and over again. It gives you choices with what to do after the game. To put it simply, its a good game from my childhood that i will never forget.

EA shows that they were refining their approach to the Potter titles with each entry, and this is easily the best of the home console versions with a more watchable visual presentation, slightly better-rounded plot and smooth gameplay, but it can just tedious and rushed toward the end.

Gamers not used to the Hogwarts world may still be impressed by the novel approach to the gameplay, the magical graphics and the well-balanced learning curve.
  3. A genuinely good third-year romp for Harry. Accomplished and absorbing, it's not quite magical but it's certainly no muggle either. [GamesMaster]
