Nov 10, 2011Awesome, but mainly trying to balance out the stupid 0/10 for not being a handheld. The game reintroduces aspects from sacred war (abilities). The maps are great. The characters are very lovable.

May 27, 2012Wonderful game overall. I was worried because the Fire Emblem games seemed to recycle a lot of things from their older games, but this game has brought so many new things to the table and still keep some of the things we love about Fire Emblem! The 3D animations were well done, although they were a tad long and the story is unlike anything I've seen before! A must have for RPG lovers!

Dec 17, 2013The best Fire Emblem yet, mostly due to characters. The team felt very united and charismatic. Level design is superb and the challange will make you think harder not to loose that beloved unit. Some improvements were made on later games, but this one raised the bar way up from both GBA games.

Sep 9, 2012Loved this game. Best strategy game since OgreBattle 64, good story, good characters, nothing bad to say really.
-
Oct 21, 2012My personal favorite for reasons I cannot comprehend. Maybe I just like the Gamecube, maybe it's what it added to the franchise, Ike, or the story. But regardless, this is a FE game your gaming library isn't complete without.

Apr 13, 2016This game made a huge impression on me and was my first Fire Emblem experience.
So no matter how much I have loved many Fire Emblem games after this - my first love will always have a special place in my heart.
If you can only play 5 turn based strategy JRPG´s in your life - make sure this is one of them! -
Apr 27, 2017Fire Emblem en una consola de sobremesa, increible como despliegan la formula de estos juegos maravillosos y la enriquecen con una historia y elementos que no habiamos visto en las entregas anteriores de esta franquisia

Oct 23, 2022This game is one of the best games I’ve ever played in my life. This game has such a superior cast of characters out of any game I’ve played (except for one and it’s in my name). But this game has helped me through so much and I think every Fire Emblem fan should have the opportunity to play this astonishingly splendid game.

Mar 25, 2014Great game, great series.
If you like Awakening, Path of Radiance offers a richer, deeper experience. The map design is far superior to Awakening, and the story is a lot less contrived.
Give it a chance. -
CraigM.Oct 19, 2005Better on the GBA. Same game, but portable.

MiveyS.Dec 14, 2006It couldn't get any better than this I have every one of the games I would kill someone who insulted fire emblem.

Nov 6, 2013Epic story, amazingly interesting and relative characters, great RPG gameplay. Only big drawback is it's graphics that seem low budget (except from the cutscenes of course). 8.7/10
-
Mar 11, 2015Amazing game, has a kind of "handheld" feel though. The tactical system is a bit simplier than than the one in Awakening, but the plot is definitely much more immersive.
As my second FE title I found it a bit easier than Awakening (normal, p.d.-on) so I may assume the game can be a great starting point for newcomers, -

VidM.Jan 4, 2006I haven't enjoyed a TRPG this much since the orginal FFT. Great battles, story, and characters. I would have liked to see more of the Gamecube's potential used, but TRPGs generally don't use the full power of a system.

MikeG.Nov 10, 2005My favorite FE game out of the three so far. There's no greater satisfaction than fully leveling several characters and watching them own the map :)

CarcasGalaticJan 8, 2006I was so glad when I herd one was coming out for Game Cube but i was majorly disopointed. Graphics are terrible. I actully rate this game one point lower than the ones out for game boy. The story line is the only real good part.

PabloR.Feb 18, 2006Really good. I have to say it was a lot better than i had expected when i first got it. The great and wonderful story line keeps you wanting to play every mission. IT also brings very good realistic characters and levels. Only 1 bad thing, dont lose any of your characters, u'll regret it.

BobM.Oct 22, 2007This game gives you a challenge at every corner. the guiding wind level was HARD not to die, give equal amount of experience and defend the base. it is a very challenging game.

KevinB.Jan 3, 2007Easily the most addicting game since Animal Crossing. I'm currently working on my 5th time through and plan to do it many more times. A must have for any Gamecube owner.

AlexK.Oct 17, 2005Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is definitely one of the best games I've ever plain. The sound, gameplay, and story are perfectly executed. If your a fan of Fire Emblem games, then this game will not disappoint. If you are new to the series it is a great place to start due to the difficulty selection. This game will keep you playing for hours.

-
IasiO.Oct 25, 2005While it is a similar experience to the portable titles, there is enough to warrant this title for the Gamecube over the Gameboy Advance.
-
-
DivineMythOct 26, 2005This is my first experience with Fire emblem. The effects and dialoque are really great, making you play longer. It places you in a type of Shining Force and Final Fantasy Tactics atmosphere, making the game enjoyable. Of course not you typical RPG compare to Final Fantasy or Tales of Symphonia, making it a risky buy, but overall leading to a great buy.

-
AricS.Jan 12, 2006I think it was awsome i being a big fire emblem fanbut i think they could change it a little so it is not like the gameboy version.

-
EricaP.Jun 28, 2006I am addicted to this game. I like the fact that after I beat it, I wanted to do it again and again, and each time is different depending on which characters you choose to level up. My only problem with it is with the Paladin horses...their front legs bend the wrong way... but other than that this is my favourite game.

J.L.ToledoJul 21, 2006Just great, fantastic and good story, all new characters like always, and the laguz are the better characters this game has made, you will played again and again, so you can see more support canversations. at first you will see the battles kind of slow but you will get used to it. NIce girls in here specially the mages.

-
GregD.Jul 29, 2007FE: POR provided me with a solid 60 hours of gameplay and a more then fun experience while playing it. The storyline makes you feel as if you are actually involved in the game. The graphics may not take full advantage of the Gamecubes capabillities but the fun gamplay more then makes up for it.

ChrisDec 14, 2005Good game once you get into it. I like the Forge option even though I always build a dro sword for the hero.
-
-
CameronK.Dec 22, 2005This game is much better from the last two. Everyone seems to hate the graphics but even though they are a little worse than than most gamecube games, much better than the gba games. Not to mention the better class custumization, weapon forging, and new classes along with much harder levels.

Jun 1, 2011Fire Emblem, one of the world's toughest series makes it's way into 3D, looking breathtaking in the cinematics, but N64-ish in game! Com'on Intelligent Systems! Much like the GBA counter part(s), Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance features a deep story line, colorful and interesting characters, several locals and a challenge.

-
May 5, 2012It's a pretty good game but there aren't any dark magic users or arenas! You can only earn money by visiting towns or selling items in stores. Other than that the game follows the old style of gameplay like its predecessors.

Feb 11, 2019Such memorable characters, such enjoyable combat. Years later I still remember most of it. A classic!
-
Dec 30, 2014Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is a tough, frustrating, and unforgiving game that keeps having me go back to it because of how fun and engrossing the gameplay, characters and story are. This truly is a masterpiece.
-
Mar 17, 2019It is a very solid game. Charming characters, good story, nice music. Easy to play hard to master, if you want finish it in difficult mode. But there some flaws..........like the graphics. But in general, it is almost a masterpiece.
-
Apr 13, 2016que puedo decir, soy un FANBOY de fire emblem, no me importa que no tenga buenos graficos o que quisiera que fuera tan largo como un final fantasy tactis, pero DIOS! I LOVE this game!!

Jan 22, 2020Straightforward storyline, subpar graphic but memorable characters. Too much idle time during enemy turn.
-
Mar 31, 2023One of my favourite Fire Emblem games, it has everything you need in a good tactical RPG game : great story, great characters, great maps and challenging battles with nice mechanics. The mysterious antagonist makes you want to progress further in the game and find out more.
-
Aug 23, 2023The only FE that i really liked back then. It was very, very hard but not frustrating.
-
Aug 23, 2023Incredible game, the first 3D home console Fire Emblem and is an incredible RPG as well.

While the presentation and lack of innovation may not wow you, you'll be sucked in by just how well judged every element of the gameplay is.
-
It starts off brilliant, then erodes your enthusiasm over time.
-
Sure, this game is nowhere near as difficult as its SNES and GBA predecessors, but it still requires all the strategy and thought required to make it great.
