  1. But for the millions of reasons out there, there simply isn't a single one to justify the purchase of this game. With entries like Tak: the Great Juju Challenge, the waters of the gaming world don't just threaten to overflow; they become entirely undrinkable.

A somewhat benign, scaled-down version of the console version that might catch some parents' eye on the shelf come holiday shopping time.
  3. The platform action is very good and engrossing. The location of save checkpoints is problematic at times, and the race levels are frustrating and can block progress for some players even on the easy level.
  4. Nintendo Power

Maintains the lighthearted atmosphere of previous Tak games but is weighed down with unneeded difficulty in its jumping game. [Nov 2005, p.116]
  5. It looks and sounds fantastic, no question. There are some moments when the gameplay really does shine, but most of the time it's unreasonably difficult, or just dull.
  6. 70
While it may not sell out or win any awards, it is an excellent pick up and play game for kids.
