Time2SaiLMar 8, 2003This game is not a port from any SNES title, SNES never could run a game like this. Superior in many aspects even de PSX version, and has even more characters. Music is not good, but is not too bad as people is sying it is. Gameplay, the most important thing on the evaluation, is Superb. Anyone who likes Capcom games shold buy this cardrigde. I've sayd.

AlexM.Jul 6, 2004It's good, but there are way to many moves where you have to hold a button for two seconds or so, It has no pick-up-and-play-ability, and even on the lowest difficulty, from stage 7 upwards, the fighters (especialy Vega) WILL tear you a new mouth in your stomach. Capcom should make EX plus A for GBA.

-
May 7, 2023A huge roster of fighters and fantastic graphics make for probably the best fighting game on the system.

The audio doesnt live up to the visuals. Digitised audio has been a standard fixture of SF titles for years, but the infamous Hadoken! and Shoryuken! are both scratchily rendered for SFA3, and the music isnt much better.
-
In a nutshell this can be described as the best GBA fighting game on the shelves.

Game InformerCapcom has reproduced nearly every component that made Alpha 3 the best Street Fighter, despite the GBA's obvious deficiencies. [Sept 2002, p.94]
