Probably the best racing game on the Game Boy Advance. It has great graphics, good control, and is a lot of fun to play. The password system is the only real problem Ive found.
-
Game InformerI hate this game's archaic point of view which I've dubbed Pole Position Syndrome. [June 2002, p.87]
-
Despite the varied modes, the gameplay is the same and the lack of sophisticated AI play means you'll be entertained for one or two rounds until the races become too long (and too easy) to bear.
-
This game is seriously lacking in all categories beyond its graphical candy coating.
-
MotoGP commits the ultimate portable game sin by using a password system as opposed to a battery save option, which somewhat defeats the purpose of playing through some of the longer modes when you're on the go.
-
A dull game accompanied by a truly horrid save system.
-
The racing itself is very enjoyable and offers a real sense of speed, and trying to beat your best time can be addictive. Too bad the multiplayer mode required multiple game copies.
-
Considering the far superior racing titles already available on the system ("Mario Kart: Super Circuit" and "F-Zero"), Moto GP has little ground to stand on.
-
A good game, with some flawed controls, but a nice look.
-
The saving feature is a real annoyance and hurts the enjoyment something fierce.
-
Nintendo PowerTight handling, excellent sound effects, unpredictable tracks.[Apr 2002, p.152]
