This is simply a drug, mini-games are hilarious, varied and never dull, Besides, it's enough replay value after finishing the main story.
MPA is one of the few brave and special games for GBA.

Mario Party Advance just doesn't compete with the rest of the Mario Party series. Heck, it doesn't compete with any party series. Pros: Lots of mini-games; charming; imaginative fun for kids. Cons: For adults, it'll feel all too elementary; the challenge of some games is unapparent; limited multi-player mode.

To be honest Advance is okay to be honest. The minigame well are repetitive and are a bit unoriginal the gameplay is simple and is little fun. But still the game is flawed...a lot.

Mario Party Advance was the first Portable Mario Party game to be released and it fails. Reasons are because repetitive Mini games, stupid questions to answer and a horrible single player mode Plus there is no Multiplayer mode whatsoever. In the single player mode to move it costs one of your lives. Really? If you want a better Mario Party on the go. PLEASE get Mario Party DS instead.

This game is mediocre at best. The first portable Mario Party game. It is also my least favourite in the series. The graphics are okay. The character selection is fine. The quality is terrible. The boards are okay. This is a mediocre game and I recommend you stay away from it. You can buy this if you like the gameplay. If not, buy Mario Party 9 instead.

A colorful and educational Mario Party game for children of all ages. For everyone else, it's just colorful. Pros: Colorful visuals; lots of mini-games; lots of replay value. Cons: The mini-games are just too simple; lack of features.

I remember getting this back in the day. It was awful. It's not even a Mario Party. Not sure why anyone could give this over a 3 at most. It made no sense. First there is no multiplayer; which, why would you call something a "party" if you're alone. Next, the single player is just awful. You use a life to roll and the "quests" are stupid. The things you do had no reason of being done. TheI remember getting this back in the day. It was awful. It's not even a Mario Party. Not sure why anyone could give this over a 3 at most. I understand that the GBA had hardware on par with the SNES but you could at least have included a link cable setting. This just kinda felt thrown together in a hurry. It just should've never been made. It's one of those abominations, like ET was during its time. Expand

And to this day, Mario Party Advance is the weakest Mario Party game out of all the Mario Party installments out there and this was just for Game Boy Advance.

This Is The Most Unique And On The Go Mario Party Game.
The Quests Are Fun To Do And Minigames Are Pretty Goo.
It Only Has 4 Characters and is single player.
You Can't Play With Friends or CPUs.
But It Still Is Fun And Quests Are Fun And Mini games Are Fun!
    I Like This Game! 8/10!

This is by far my least favourite Mario game from Generations 5-8. This game is just uncreative and is bland. Fortunately, this game is just mediocre, but it is slightly closer to being bad, than to being good.

If you want a better portable Mario Party game, please get Mario Party DS or Mario Party: Island Tour instead.

I sincerely believe that beating the single-player campaign of this game was the most torturous video game experience I have ever had the misfortune to endure.

It's not like the other Mario Partys, but it's still a very good game!!! Maybe some additional charakters would have been good...

Mario Party Doesn’t Quite Do As Well On GBA
Mario Party Advance feels like “Just another party game” and that’s a shame.

DON'T get this game if you are looking for something similar to the other Mario party games. (which is what almost all of the other reviews are focusing on) this game is not that at all. if you want a portable Mario party, get Mario party DS instead (The best Mario party of them all).

It is a good game... great minigames, ok graphics but terrible and bland story mode. Play only if you do not know what to do with your life...

This game isn't the worst game ever, but it's not great either. The biggest problem with Mario Party Advance is that it relies too much on Single Player mode. This is what happens when you try to make a multiplayer game into a single player experience. The minigames are lackluster and the main game is boring. You're best off avoiding this one.

This is almost as bad as Mario Party 9 and the only good things about it are the characters you can meet and the minigames to an extent an meh game at best and a bad game at worst.

The GBA just isn't suitable for a party game the nature of how Mario Party is supposed to be, however the DS, equipped with wireless and forthcoming online play, is a whole different story.
