Madagascar provides quite a challenge in the gameplay. Graphics are pretty good. It is annoying in some parts because you can get stuck and you won't know where to go.

Very typical platformer, doesn't have great responsiveness nor is it very imaginative in any regard. There's not too much bad to say about it, but there's also not much good to say either.

  1. The most challenging levels though are the ones that get all Splinter Cell-ish on you. Even though you don't don Sam Fisher's trademark goggles, the gameplay is similar.
  2. The variety of gameplay types is considerably higher than most action/adventures, let alone games with a movie license attached.
  3. The major problem with that idea is that later in the game the platforming and strategy elements can become quite difficult and children may feel it is out of their grasp.
