This game is one of those games. This game is unbelievable especially for being on the gameboy. It adds so many fun levels and music, the characters are fun, the powerups are amazing, but by far the greatest addition in this game was the addition of multiplayer. They managed to make an open world game for up to 4 people who can travel to different parts of the maps and explore, you can call your buddies in case you need help and they can come assist you. You can fight bosses together. I remember playing this with my brothers and it is still by far one of the greatest experiences I have ever had playing any game Expand

Kirby and the Amazing Mirror is a Kirby platformer that applies the "Four Swords" formula to its gameplay with four Kirbys in action at once attempting to save the mirror world but you only control the main one. How does this game fare today? Sadly, not very well at all. On the plus side, the game world is a giant labyrinth similar to what you would see in Metroid or Castlevania and quite possibly a direct sequel to "The Great Cave Offensive" that was a part of Kirby Superstar (SNES)/Kirby Superstar Ultra (DS). other good things are minigames, multiplayer support, the great audio and visuals, the abilbity to call the warp star to return you to the lobby or your partners to help out, and finally the large amount of treasures to collect and use. On the negative aspect of things, single player is incredibly bad. A good chunk of areas in the game are tight to navigate and leave you with little to no room for error in avoiding danger and taking damage, You drop your power with only a single hit and with a certain power needed to access certain areas, if you lose it you have to make a tedious trek back to get it again and return to where you needed it without losing it again which gets rather irritating and fast, the respawn rate for enemies in certain areas is kind of absurd and can lead you to getting unfairly sneak attacked or swarmed, the AI partners are completely useless they will either stand by you and do nothing if nothing is on screen, or clumsily chase the nearest enemy in their programmed field of vision taking as much damage from them and terrain hazards as possible in the process, they with rarely ever help you move large boulders by inhaling it with you and they can sometimes push you into traps, terrain hazards, enemies or bottomless holes if you aren't careful or paying enough attention, the large labyrinth-like structure of the levels doesn't lend itself well to a mere six health points per life, even with the large amount of food/lives items and your mostly useless partners you will notice quickly that it does become a noticeable problem especially in more trickier portions of the levels later on. I know I'm probably going to get a lot of hate for this but I honestly don't think this game is that great, there was good intentions and ideas here but some questionable execution of these said ideas lead to just as much benefits as it does problems. There are far better Kirby platforming experiences for portable Nintendo systems out there in my opinion, I'd recommend trying Kirby Superster Ultra and Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland instead of this or try out the brand new Kirby Mass Attack which utilizes the multiple Kirby system in a far more effective and enjoyable manner. ok, I feel like this was one of the worst kirby games ever. I say that because of the metroidvania aspect. It's not just because of it being a metroidvania that it's a problem but it's due to the non returning doors either. I also felt like the story was too complicated for what it was trying to do. The multiplayer sucked too unlike star allies(the game most fans felt wereok, I feel like this was one of the worst kirby games ever. I say that because of the metroidvania aspect. It also didn't help that it was my second kirby game so I expected nightmare in dreamland 2 but instead we got this. At least we got good music, beautiful graphics, and heath bars for enemies but that's about it. Expand

Very fun! It has a lot of challenge, and depth. The game plays like a giant maze, which is brilliant. An excellent addition to the Kirby series!

When you're not playing a port of Mario or Zelda, try Kirby & the Amazing Mirror, a subtle, but fantastic looking platformer for the GBA. Pros: Excellent visuals and control; the best 2-D platformer starring the pink puff ball; four Kirby formula actually works. Cons: Repetitious backtracking and mini-games; no support for the Wireless Adapter.

This is the best Kirby game on a handheld. It's really long (but not tedious, but it can get tiresome to go back through worlds to get Mirror Shards) and fun. I just wish it was a little bit more challenging and the partner Kirbys AI wasn't so dumb.

It's not innovative and it doesn't support the GBA wireless adapter, however, The Amazing Mirror is still fantastic and has tons of power-ups, level designs, and multiplayer value.

My second favorite Kirby game!! I give it a 10. The game play is cool and Flagship really did it this time: THEY HAVE OVERLOADED MY SYSTEM WITH GRATITUDE! THIS GAME MAY HAVE YOU CONFUSED AND LOST SOMETIMES, AND THE LAST BOSS MAY BE KIND OF HARD, BUT IT'S AWESOME! BUY IT NOW!

Este juego hacer que aveces te aburra a pesar de que esta bien para ser un puzzle complejo, lo malo es que tiene casi los mismos movimientos del personaje de kirby en nightmare in dream land, eso hace que pierda algo de su toque

Kirby on the GBA was the finest in its 2D games. Power-ups are from Nightmare in Dreamland and they've been a little upgraded this time, most notably Sword or fighter. The sound effects are good, the then-multiplayer idea was great but it lacks on difficult sometimes. It's a Kirby game anyway. But surprinsingly some bosses are quite tough if you don't have the right power up. Other remarkable things are the mini-games, the call feature in case you're low on HP. I spent so much time playing it, trying to get 100% and the minigames when i first got it on the 3DS VC... So, there's no doubt that is one of the most original in the franchise (in the main Kirby games) and it's, with Kirby Super Star Ultra, the finest 2D entries of the lovely pink ball. Expand

I think Kirby and the Amazing Mirror is a very sweet game. It's a cute game. Maybe it's because of Kirby, but let's take a look at the game.

We know how barren these games are when it comes to story, they usually just give a simple explanation and then get into the game. Most of the games that come out in this period and are of this size - except for the story-based ones - come with a story of this size. Even though the "bad things happened, go fix them" story is very bland and pointless, I don't think anyone needs a deep story in a game this cookie-cutter.

The game looks sweet, the atmospheres of the different regions are very well differentiated, and there are also parts within the same region where different atmospheres are provided. Even though I haven't played this game much, I think if you show me a screen from a region, I can recognize it. The game is beautiful and special in this respect. The music is just as iconic.

It doesn't take a lot of time and the gameplay is not too complicated. It is always fun to transform Kirby into different characters. Also, since the game has an open world (yes, it's an open world, even though it's not that big), we can use these features in different parts of that open world and go somewhere. This adds a sweet Metrodivania vibe to the game. Everything about the game is average or just above average. But it manages to keep you entertained.

It's a simple game, it doesn't take much of your time. I think it manages to entertain you in that short time. Nintendo really knows how to make games like this. It was the master of this business in its time.
