    Boring city, bad car-handling and other nerving things in gameplay.

    The game plays well, but the city's repetitive textures could be more detailed. Contains some very tough missions and nice extra's to last a while.

    Some tough missions, not so good graphics, fun missions and driving games. Too many glitches, such as objects disappearing.

    This game does a decent enough job for such the GBA system, but there are a few glitches in the game. Overall this game is just cool game to play on youre spare time and its the closest thing to GTA until GTA 3 comes out for the GBA console.

    This game has tons of gameplay, and is a great game for an AGB title. I hink it does a pretty good job recreating Driver 2 on such a limited system.

    It is pretty a fun game exept for a few problems like grapics and such but for a GBA thats all right. It's fairly addicting and thats good.

    Driver 2 on GBA has two impressive open worlds and is a joy to drive around in. The drifting feels just right and there's a great skill curve in this game. However, due to a bug. You can't finish the campaign on an original GBA, since it lacks the power to load the game fast enough. So in the mission where you have to plant C4 and escape. The game just freezes and lets you die. So playDriver 2 on GBA has two impressive open worlds and is a joy to drive around in. Rating:
    Gameplay: 5/5 - Everything you'd want from an open world driving game.
    Level Design: 5/5 - 2 great open worlds with varying difficulty.
    Soundtrack: 0/5 - Horrible. Seriously, play this game with the sound muted if possible.
    Story: 5/5 - The story from the PS1 game was greatly ported here.
    Graphics: 5/5 - Great and impressive for GBA standards.
    Length: 5/5 - There's just loads to do here.
    Replay Value: 3/5 - There's a fun free play and some great challenge modes. Plus there's apparently multiplayer.
    Enjoyment: 4/5 - Absolutely loved it. But hated that I couldn't finish it on my GBA SP.

    Overall rating: 32/40 => 8/10

    Verdict: Absolutely impressive and worth giving a shot on an emulator.

  1. A hugely engrossing game that is varied and challenging enough to last you a fair while.
  2. It's astonishing just how much Driver 2 Advance looks, feels, and plays like the PlayStation version of Driver 2.

    This was born to be on the GBA. [Nov 2002, p.150]
