[Anonymous]Apr 2, 2004Here is another situation where a 70 should be in the "green" range. The review from NTSC-uk was favorable, but it still is "yellow." I still think this is a cool site, however.

JLOct 25, 2005Game play gets repetitive after a while.

BlueFalconDec 16, 2004Okay so Astro Boy is a pretty lame character unless you're nostalgic, really young, or perhaps reside in Japan. But this game is seriously great. It's a hardcore shooter, not the typical kiddie platformer you might expect to find on the gba.

T.DogDec 17, 2004Thank God for Treasure, who made this and Ikaruga, an incredibly underrated (or at least under sold) GC game. What a great shooter. keep em coming.

PaulF.May 19, 2005An incredibly fun game, especially for a portable console. Has a much more involved and interesting story than I expected.

JayRadMay 27, 2005It was a pretty good game, but I wished it was longer and involved less mashing of buttons. thats just me i love RPGs.

Jul 14, 2011Fast paced combat and bright graphics are positive. The story feels kind disengaged but still a lot of fun . Astro Boy really need it to have this kind of gameplay.

Jan 18, 2019Una de las joyas ocultas dentro del catalogo de Game Boy Advance. Beat em up mezclado con shoot em up y una oda al magaka Osamu Tezuka.

May 6, 2023Typically of Treasure, Astro Boy is a very pretty looking game in the vein of Mega Man. Not a huge amount of depth but it's definitely one of the better run'n'gun games on the Advance.

Whether you rely on brute strength or a tactical mind, the fact that the game allows this is an achievement in itself. [JPN Import]

Only the steep difficulty curve may prove a deterrent: later levels especially can induce fits of blind GBA-throwing rage. For those with the grit to play it, Astro Boy: The Omega Factor makes a refreshing alternative to all those meandering wander-em-ups.
