This game would be considered, in my opinion, almost perfect. The main idea in this game is to create your own minigames, there are even rewards for your efforts. This game is perfection in all the definition of the word.
So why? You can play and create your own micro-games, music and also comics! When I was a kid, it seemed to was like a infinite game, with infinite posibilities, and I wasn't wrong at all... You really can do everything who do you want, I maded Mario style games, fish games, etc. There aren't so much limits, such like Minecraft.

Anyways, the game have prepacked games to play if you don't want to do it yourself, and all are so cool! Also the music is really good, search the OST in YouTube if you want.
There are so very different modes and a lot of content, really, you will be not bored in any second. So in conclusion, a masterpiece of the DS and my second favorite game of the DS (my first one is NSMB)

In a word-bonkers. Not just a game maker, but the chance to take the mick out of anyone (provided your stylus skills are up to it) with plenty of modes and downloads to keep you playing. Bored on a train/bus/car? Make a game where said train/bus/car/U.F.O flies through planets, zapping aliens and anyone who gets on your nerves. Dangerously addictive, too.

This game is amazing. Even if you have zero creativity, you can still edit the existing games, changing, for example, a balloon-popping game into a flying monkey-shooting game. There is no end to the content, especially if you have many friends with the game to share over wifi. It has it's limits, but within those, your creativity is pushed to ITS limits. This game is awesome.

The tutorial hits the spot perfectly. It strikes the perfect balance of entertainment and helpful information. The music creator could not be bettered in terms of simplicity and usefulness. If you can't be bothered doing the AI, you can import a preset game and modify it. If you're bored of making games, you can write a comic book or create a record. I wish they'd scrap the points system because it limits you quite badly in the number of sprites and animation frames you can get. You are quite badly punished for doing larger sprites. You can only create four cells for one animation and four different art for one sprite. There needs to be more coding space as well. Some things you can't do, like you can't do when (sprite)'s art is set to (whatever). If you're ever interested in creating games, this is a great place to start. Expand

Extremely good game, although i still prefer the GBA approach to it. Touch-screen based games feel too easy, somehow. The D.I.Y. aspect of the game is a big plus, although the game shouldn't force everyone to invest so much time on them to unlock everything from the game.

Not the greatest game but you can get a couple good hours out of it if you have a good imagination. It was fun when my brother and I first got it and we would play the game for quite some time. This game was definitely ahead of its time. Nowadays we have Mario Maker on Switch and Dreams on PS4, but 10 years ago that was the closest you could get to making games/levels

I played this game nearly a decade ago on an old laptop using an emulator. Recently, I picked the game up because of nostalgia and also because I really liked the idea of all the options this game gives you. I have to say that I'm not disappointed. You are given a huge variety of options in every part of game making, whether that be creating the music, the art or the script, everything feels fun and intuitive. The premade games are also great, featuring great art, music and gameplay. All of that creates a package that is a fantastic experience. Expand

    彈性極大 自由度極高 加上無數玩家投入創作
    使壞莉歐工坊D.I.Y.成為系列中遊戲庫最龐大的一代
    即使在良作輩出的壞莉歐工坊系列中 我認為它可以跟轉轉壞利歐工坊一起並列第一好玩
    真的是非常不可思議的 一款遊戲

  1. Your enjoyment of WarioWare: D.I.Y. will really be dependent on what kind of a gamer you are. If you are playing this just for the games, you'll be pretty disappointed.
  2. Another effortless piece of cleverness, another modest marvel.
  3. For anyone interested in game or music design, this lets you be creative in a new way. Superb. [May 2010, p.78]
