Jul 3, 2011This is pretty much a port of the third Mortal Kombat and puzzle Kombat. The games main problem is technical glitches (stuff like screen tears and sound cutting off.)
-
Dec 20, 2018Игра хорошая. Одиночный режим сложный, много персонажей. В неё интересно играть. Хороша игра на DS.

Mar 27, 2020If you go into this one expecting a good time on single player, you're going to have a bad time within.. 5 mnutes. Or first 3 battles. Depends on if youre playing puzzle or normal kombat.
Really good conversion, but no difficulty slider. Skip this one unless you have a friend to play against. -
Jan 6, 2020MUY BUENO ESTE JUEGO LO TENGO EN LA DS y encuentro k está super bien me recuerda al Trilogy de la play 1 jeje

NeilM.Nov 22, 2007This is a surprising DS game. The Puzzle Kombat game is easily worth the purchase price alone. Its as good if not better than Capcom's Puzzle Fighter Turbo. Plus its got wifi multiplayer. UMK3 needs no explanation BUY THIS GAME!

EdF.Nov 19, 2007Very fun game. It is the fast paced MK we know and love. Although very simple in its presentation, as some online parts could have been transferred over like win streaks from the arcade version as well as leaderboard stats in the online mode, the game does a nice job. Online is fun and people are always there to play.

RalphD.Nov 19, 2007This game is an arcade emulation of the original, therefore it is 100% perfect. For those oldschool mk gamers, this one is a must have. It's the arcade machine in your pocket!

DellNov 27, 2007Okay, I gave it an eight although I really don't care for UMK but for the fact that its an arcade port fighting game with no slow down! Though, I would buy a street fighter 2 collection with online connection for the DS before anything else... DO YOU HERE ME CAPCOM?????

CycoD.Jan 28, 2008Do not buy for its single player game, because the AI is so ramped up and impossibly difficult your DS is at risk of being flung at high velocity against the wall in frustration. Please, think of the DS.

Aug 12, 2012To be honest i really liked this game, Ultimate Mortal Kombat AI always whooped on me so its never really fair. The addition of having all the special moves and all the fatalities is quite handy and Puzzle Kombat makes it a sure by for fans of the series. I recommend it to any hardcore Mortal Kombat fan out there.

Apr 26, 2019A good game and a cheap way to play umk3. Plus puzzle kombat! The game boy family never really got a decent mk game, so now that there’s an arcade perfect port for its predecessor, I can be rested,

Aug 2, 2020This game is not bad, but some minuses: UMK3 hasn't difficult settings. Another minus is two screens - for fighting game, this is not good choose.
-
Feb 14, 2021It's f *** ing Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 on NDS! One of the best MK portable version ever made, with excellent sound, graphics, controls, and with Puzzle Kombat included.

Simple as the presentation is, the two titles are well developed. If all you want is a really solid, fun version of Mortal Kombat 3 that can go online, that's what you're going to get. It's good stuff all around.
-
Mortal Kombat is an acquired taste and is looked down upon by most coin-op fighter enthusiasts because of its lack of strategy and its stiffness of control. UMK3 got rid of the stiffness, and the game truly is playable on the DS if you can get by the fact that the D-Pad is so small.
-
Ultimate MK is a sharp fighting game that's still a lot of fun, but only against live opponents.
