    This is possibly one of the most underrated games of all time. Epic graphics for the time and for the DS, great gameplay, great story, and great customization for a DS game. Besides, you can play as StarScream and Megatron!!!

    Okay, best DS game ever, best storyline game ever, only flaws are the poor grphics and the amount of charecters you can be (no scroponok or Bonecrusher!) but Impresive, and I have made the right move here.

    The transformers licensed games are usually not that good. this licensed game, however, managed to do pretty well. Overall, Transformers: Decepticons is a great underrated ds title that should be checked out by fans of transformers.… Expand

    Transformer has become one of the most recognized franchise in Tv series , toy's , games and comic books . While the first Transformer portable edition isn't very innovative or awesome is a passable game that by no means deserves a credit of being an important game in the DS ( yet is a very old game ) .     It's a blast to terrorize the populace, and picking up cars and hurling them at autobots. impressive open city for a DS. die autobot scum!

    This game is really nothing special. The other comments are obvious attempts at astroturfing, because they all read the same, mention marketing bullet-points as positives, and do not offer any insight whatsoever into the mechanics of the game.

    Solid, fun little GTA-clone. For the first time in a Transformers game i actually feel like there's a BENEFIT to transforming. Surprisingly well-done, with a boatload of voicework. Go Decepticons!

    Great game. amazing, once I picked it up I have yet to stop. just an amazing game for a ds game grafics are a+ sound even better, pick it up and enjoy.

    Definitely the most awesome Transformers game I've played. It fills in background info that the movie leaves out, you can scan and play as a whole bunch of different vehicles and choose their color schemes to boot, you can play as almost all of the characters from the movie, and the overall gameplay is just fun. A must have for any Transformers fan.

    This is undoubtedly one of the most criminally underrated video games ever. There is so much I can say about this game. The story is great. The voice acting is absolutely phenomenal. The gameplay is fun. Nostalgia I have for this game be damned it’s still amazing even 15 years later. I enjoyed seeing how the protagonist’s loyalty evolves as he spends time with Barricade, Blackout andThis is undoubtedly one of the most criminally underrated video games ever. I loved seeing the comradery that developed between the protagonist and Barricade. Seeing Starscream’s treachery being a legitimate threat rather than a joke as often in different Transformers media was a real treat. I highly HIGHLY recommend this game to any Transformers fan out there. You will not be disappointed. I implore anyone reading this to play this game and it’s counterpart. Easy 10/10… Expand

    This game may not be a pillar of innovation or creativity, but it is fun. The combat is straightforward and the single player campaign is short, but fans will definitely have a good time here. The game is structured very well for a handheld platform and there’s enough replayability to keep you coming back for a while.

    When it comes to fighting as the robot or the vehicle, Transformers DS falls flat. The action and its technique really needs a bit of a tune-up, especially in the "defense" department, and the glitches that pop up from time to time are really hard to ignore.
