Dec 19, 2011This game have a absurd sinister atmosphere. And it's good because it's intentional. The suspense atmosphere is very intense. And is no break for it. Better then many horror games. The game story evolves good too. And the gameplay is decent. I recommend for adventure fans and horror fans.

FelixK.Dec 17, 2008One of the best Nintendo DS adventure games. The story is very interesting and the DS controls work very well. I can only recommend this game and hope that it will receive the attention it deserves.

EdgeyP.Jul 16, 2009The game may seem too slow for some people, but if you like creepy (and kinda disgusting) stories, point-and-click gameplay with lots of mini puzzles and you don't mind a mixture of somewhat poor 3D graphics and 2D static images you'll most definitely enjoy it, like me and my girlfriend did (well, we still have to complete the second part of the game after 14 hours!).

BryanK.Dec 8, 2008This game is a dark and twisted game that keeps you playing and on your toes. If it wasn't for real life I wouldn't be able to stop playing.

Though likely created on a shoestring budget, Theresia offers an interesting story, engaging gameplay, and a fine, cinematic presentation. But as is the case with most games of its kind, there’s little reason to come back for seconds.

The atmosphere of Theresia, as well as its convoluted story, just doesn't scare us, but instead makes us want to stop playing, or failing that, kill ourselves.

Theresia: Dear Emile does a great job of providing old school adventure elements with striking visuals, great sound and a breadcrumb approach to storytelling that will have you up far longer at night than you had planned, as you work to uncover more memories, or just see what's in the next room.
