    It’s great to see a kids’ game that is actually a good product and something that the kids will enjoy playing. Too often they are not. The levels are all interesting, and there is a good variety of puzzles and platforming features in each one. However, the hazards are difficult to avoid, and there aren’t enough save points or lives.

    The game won me over when I started picturing one of my 10-year old cousins playing Strawberry Shortcake on her DS. In my daydream she looked like she was having fun.

    Shin’en is back with another game for Game Factory, this time Strawberry Shortcake. The concept works much better as a platformer, with some decent gameplay and Shin’en’s typically good graphics. This one is a good gift idea for young children.
