    The developers of the rather weak Amazing Spider-Man obviously realised that their game was not up to scratch and so decided to steal some ideas from its sequels. The result is like a dodgy cover version of Shattered Dimensions...the best ideas are all second hand and it feels like a step backwards.

    We do not want to sanctify the work of Griptonite Games (in recent times, they were able to pull off stuff like Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters, one of the ugliest games ever for Wii), but there's a huge quality gap from last year's Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and Spider-Man: Edge of Time. That's a great disappointment, even for the fans of the character.
