  1. There’s plenty here to twist and turn your brain.
  2. Some activities are highly entertaining; others are disappointing.
  3. Rubik’s World is a title that had potential, but unfortunately it was lost among the dull and pointless exercises included in this game.

File this one under 'niche puzzler', if you've got the patience, that is. [Christmas 2008, p.103]
  5. Rubik’s World is a fun puzzle game starring the cubie, those smaller parts of the whole Rubik’s cube, and is worth taking a crack at.
  6. You’ll need an appreciation for the cube itself to get the most out of this (and you may want to destroy whoever programmed the chirpy music and decided to call the cubes “cubies” and give them a story) but it’s a solid value for puzzle players.
  7. Rubik’s World has the right idea, but counter-intuitive puzzles, less-than-helpful instructions and finicky controls make this game more aggravating than mind-bending.
  8. Rubik’s World is probably one of the only games to come out last year with vastly different game types that almost never connect to the greater whole and still managed to be very playable.
