Oct 26, 2014challenging, addictive, brilliant Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island is all this and more if your looking for a game with a great story, good mechanics and graphics way before its time this is the game for you

Feb 23, 2017This isn't as good as the gba version, but it is a solid fun game. great boss fights . Passable music, and simple but fun gameplay. Too bad it flew under the radar.

Jul 17, 2017Battle for Volcano Island on DS is a 2D platform game. It offers little to no unique aspects to the already established platforming gameplay, but doesn't detrimentally take anything away, either. Difficulty varies hugely, regardless of the level. What results is a game that is decent for an obvious cash-grabbing title, but mediocre as a standard video game.

The game is just really unimpressive, so unless this is a present for an eight-year-old that I constantly watching Nickelodeon, it's probably best to pass.

AceGamezA solid platform action game that would be fun without recognizable characters. It's well balanced - easy enough for its core audience to complete while still being reasonably challenging - and the personality of the characters shines through.
